Regular Part Time Nurses. Regular Part Time Nurses shall state their availability in writing. Nurses in this classification are scheduled for a certain number of tours as posted on the time schedules. These nurses make a commitment to the Alliance to be available for work on the following basis:

Examples of Regular Part Time Nurses in a sentence

  • Regular Part Time Nurses who are actively at work will accumulate sick leave credits based on hours worked on a pro-rated basis.

  • All part-time nurses who have made their availability known to the Immediate Supervisor/Designate of the Unit will be offered any additional shifts/tours prior to a job sharer and in accordance with the existing Letter of Understanding for the Scheduling of Regular Part Time Nurses.

  • The Employer agrees to maintain an Extended Group Health Benefit Plan, Dental Plan, Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD & D), Short Term Disability, Long Term Disability, and Life Insurance during the life of this Collective Agreement for participation by all Regular Full Time and Regular Part Time Nurses, subject to eligibility requirements of the Plan.

  • All part-time nurses who have made their availability known to the Immediate Supervisor/Designate of the Unit will be offered any additional shifts prior to a job sharer and in accordance with the existing Letter of Understanding for the Scheduling of Regular Part Time Nurses.

  • It is understood by the Centre and the Union that the Centre shall continue the existing practice of deducting the normal employee contribution (presently $6.00/month) from the pay of Regular Full Time and Regular Part Time Nurses for participation in the GCHC Social Committee.

  • When extra shifts become available after a shift schedule has been posted, the shifts shall be offered by seniority to Regular Part Time Nurses who have not yet reached their indicated availability.

  • Participation by eligible Regular Full Time and Regular Part Time Nurses is mandatory.

Related to Regular Part Time Nurses

  • Regular Part-Time Employee means an employee who is appointed to a regularly scheduled position but works less than full-time. A regular part-time employee is entitled to all benefits outlined in the agreement on a pro rata basis, except where otherwise specified.

  • Regular Employee is one who works on a full-time or part-time basis on regularly scheduled shifts of a continuing nature:

  • Regular benefits ’ means benefits payable to an individual under this act or under any other state law, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen pursuant to 5 U.S.C. chapter 85, other than extended benefits.

  • Regular election means an election held on a regular election date to elect an individual to, or nominate an individual for, elective office in the regular course of the terms of that elective office.

  • Applicable Wages means the basic straight time wages for all hours worked, including:

  • Newly hired employee or “New Hire” means any employee, whether permanent, full-time, or part-time, hired by the Office and who is still employed as of the date of new employee orientation. It also includes all employees who are or have been previously employed by the Office and whose current position has placed them in the bargaining unit represented by CSEA.
