Registry Policy definition

Registry Policy or “Policy” means the MNO Registry Policy, which has been in place as an interim policy adopted by the PCMNO since March 2009 and was formally adopted by special resolution of the 21st Annual General Assembly (“AGA”) in August 2014. The Policy includes Guidelines, a Backgrounder, and attached appendices.
Registry Policy terms of registration under a given Extension, or any other text with a similar scope and purpose referenced as "Charter" or "Terms of Registration", of the Registries and which are reachable via the hyperlinks listed under "Registries Policies" on Namespace Website. • Registrar: commercial entity accredited by one or more Registries to act as their intermediary with Domain Name holders. • Registry: entity in charge of the delegation of domain names for a specific Extension as referenced in the Internet Assigned Numbers Authority database available at: xxx.xxxx.xxx. The Registry administers a unique database for the Extension within its purview. This database also contains specific information regarding the domain names.
Registry Policy means the policy adopted (2014) and subsequently amended (2015 and 2019) by the MNO AGA that sets out the requirements for citizenship within the MNO that the MNO Registrar must apply;

Examples of Registry Policy in a sentence

  • Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, the Registry Operator may update, revise, amend, or change any Registry Policy without advance notice to the Registrar if such update, revision, amendment, or change is mandated by ICANN.

  • You must complete the registration documents outlined in the Code Registry Policy and Required Documentation and follow the code registry procedures when applying for an additional code.

  • Attach all applicable documentation as outlined in Code Registry Policy and Required Documentation.

  • You hereby irrevocably consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales, for any and all claims or disputes in which the Registry is a party and which arise out of, purport to enforce, construe, or otherwise relate to the Domain Name or any Registry Policy.

  • Unless provided for otherwise in any Registry Policy, Domain Name Applications will be received and processed by the Registry on a first come, first served basis.

  • Registry Operator further reserves the right to periodically review a Registered Name Holder’s compliance with this Registry Policy or any other applicable Registry policies, terms and conditions.

  • You shall not promote or market domain names within the Registry TLD inconsistently with the usage guidelines, any Registry Policy or any provision of this Agreement.

  • For clarity, no appeal under nor any provision in this Policy, including related to the Appeal Decision-Maker’s review of the Registrar’s decision shall be interpreted as altering or changing the Registrar’s authority, as set out in the MNO Bylaws and MNO Registry Policy, to be the ultimate and final decision-maker as to whether an individual meets the current citizenship requirements of the MNO.

  • Nothing in this Policy shall be interpreted in a way that alters or modifies the MNO Bylaws or MNO Registry Policy.

  • In the event of any inconsistency between any Registry Policy and this Agreement, then the Registry policy will prevail to the extent of such inconsistency.

Related to Registry Policy

  • Applicable Registry Operators means, collectively, the registry operators of top-­‐level domains party to a registry agreement that contains a provision similar to this Section 7.6, including Registry Operator.

  • Registry Services are, for purposes of the Agreement, defined as the following: (a) those services that are operations of the registry critical to the following tasks: the receipt of data from registrars concerning registrations of domain names and name servers; provision to registrars of status information relating to the zone servers for the TLD; dissemination of TLD zone files; operation of the registry DNS servers; and dissemination of contact and other information concerning domain name server registrations in the TLD as required by this Agreement; (b) other products or services that the Registry Operator is required to provide because of the establishment of a Consensus Policy as defined in Specification 1; (c) any other products or services that only a registry operator is capable of providing, by reason of its designation as the registry operator; and (d) material changes to any Registry Service within the scope of (a), (b) or (c) above.

  • Acceptable Use Policy means the policy located at xxxx://xxx.xxxxxx.xxx/aup (and any successor or related locations designated by us), as it may be updated by us from time to time.

  • Privacy Policy means the terms which set out how we will deal with confidential and personal information received from you via the Website;

  • Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry means a mortgage licensing system developed and maintained by the conference of state bank supervisors and the American association of residential mortgage regulators for the licensing and registration of licensed mortgage loan originators.

  • Policy means Related Party Transaction Policy.
