Records definition

Records means any written or recorded information, regardless of physical form or characteristics, which is produced or acquired by the Party in the performance of this agreement. Records produced or acquired in a machine readable electronic format shall be maintained in that format. The records described shall be made available at reasonable times during the period of the Agreement and for three years thereafter or for any period required by law for inspection by any authorized representatives of the State or Federal Government. If any litigation, claim, or audit is started before the expiration of the three-year period, the records shall be retained until all litigation, claims or audit findings involving the records have been resolved.
Records means, for any Receivable, all contracts, books, records and other documents or information (including computer programs, tapes, disks, software and related property and rights, to the extent legally transferable) relating to such Receivable or the related Obligor.
Records shall have the meaning set forth in Section 3(n) hereof.

Examples of Records in a sentence

  • Records of costs incurred under terms of the Contract will be maintained in accordance with section 8.3 of these Special Contract Conditions.

  • Records of costs incurred will include the Contractor’s general accounting records, together with supporting documents and records of the Contractor and all subcontractors performing work, and all other records of the Contractor and subcontractors considered necessary by the Department, the State of Florida’s Chief Financial Officer, or the Office of the Auditor General.

  • The Contractor must retain all documents related to the Contract for five (5) years after expiration of the Contract or, if longer, the period required by the General Records Schedules maintained by the Florida Department of State available at the Department of State’s Records Management website.

  • To the extent required by law the LEA shall establish reasonable procedures by which a parent, legal guardian, or eligible student may review Education Records and/or Student Data correct erroneous information, and procedures for the transfer of student-generated content to a personal account, consistent with the functionality of services.

  • If the LEA has a policy of disclosing Education Records and/or Student Data under FERPA (34 CFR § 99.31(a)(1)), LEA shall include a specification of criteria for determining who constitutes a school official and what constitutes a legitimate educational interest in its annual notification of rights.


More Definitions of Records

Records means all working papers and such other information and materials as may have been accumulated and/or produced by the Contractor in performing the Contract, including but not limited to, documents, data, plans, books, computations, drawings, specifications, notes, reports, records, estimates, summaries, correspondence, and program and individual service records and other evidence of its accounting and billing procedures and practices which sufficiently and properly reflect all direct and indirect costs of any nature incurred in the performance of this Contract, kept or stored in any form.
Records means information that is inscribed on a tangible medium or which is stored in an electronic or other medium and is retrievable in perceivable form.

Records means books of original entry, accounts, checks, bank statements and all other banking documents, correspondence, memoranda, invoices, computer printouts, tapes, discs, papers and other documents or transcribed information of any type, whether expressed in ordinary or machine language.
Records means all instruments, agreements and other books, records, and reports and data generated by other media for the storage of information maintained by Seller or any other person or entity with respect to a Purchased Mortgage Loan.
