Receiving stream definition

Receiving stream or "receiving water" means a waterbody that receives a discharge from an outfall. The term does not include private drains, unnamed conveyances, retention and detention basins, or constructed wetlands used as treatment.
Receiving stream means the watercourse, stream, or body of water receiving the waters knally discharged from the wastewater treatment plant.
