Examples of Real Property Act in a sentence
This section applies to land in the ACT that is under the Real Property Act 1900 (NSW) (RPA land).
The Seller will represent that it is in compliance with the Federal Foreign Investment in Real Property Act, commonly known as FIRPTA, that it is exempt from withholding as it is not a non-resident alien, foreign corporation, foreign partnership, foreign trust or foreign estate; and, it will provide an affidavit to that effect prior to the Close of Escrow.
There shall be a fund kept at the Treasury entitled Real Property Act Assurance Fund.
If such a charge relates to land under the provisions of the Real Property Act 1900, the charge has no effect until it is registered under that Act.
Such a charge is subject to every charge or encumbrance to which the land was subject immediately before the order was registered and, in the case of land under the provisions of the Real Property Act 1900, is subject to every prior mortgage, lease or other interest recorded in the Register kept under that Act.
