Rafting Activities definition

Rafting Activities means the raft or boat trip plus, before, during or after the raft or boat trip, anything related to or connected with the raft or boat trip including, but not limited to; use or occupation of Rafting Equipment and Facilities (as hereinafter defined); orientation and instruction sessions; direct and indirect communication (including electronic) and physical and non-physical interaction with and between any and all participants and the Operator; recording, editing and publishing participants’ image and voice; all transportation or travel; loading, unloading, entering, occupying or using Rafting Equipment and Facilities and land of the Province; and all other activities on or near the water.
Rafting Activities shall include all activities in any way related to the river rafting/kayaking trip and all other recreational activities offered by the Releasees including, but not limited to, orientation and instruction sessions, transportation or travel to and from the river, loading and unloading of vehicles, rafts, kayaks and boats, camping, backpacking, fishing, hiking, backcountry travel and all recreational activities offered.
Rafting Activities means the raft or boat trip, including but not limited to before, during or after the raft or boat trip, anything related to or connected with the raft or boat trip, including the use or occupation of a raft, boat, life vests, apparel, trailers, computers, cameras, mobile phones, software, websites or other forms of communication, any structures (such as loading ramps) used by the Participant, as well as including orientation, training or instruction sessions, if any, direct or indirect (verbal, written or electronic) communication, physical or non-physical interaction with and between any and all participants and the Participant, all transportation or travel, loading, unloading, entering, occupying or using rafting equipment and land of the Province of Alberta, and all other activities on or near the water. I understand that this Agreement is made for the benefit of Riverside Rafting Ltd. (“Riverside”), and their respective partners, directors, officers, agents, representatives, employees, independent contractors, sponsors, subcontractors, successors and assigns (collectively, the “Releasees”). I understand and acknowledge that in consideration of permitting me or the represented minor/adult to participate in Rafting Activities, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms:

Examples of Rafting Activities in a sentence

  • In entering into this Agreement I am not relying on any oral or written representations statements made by the Releasees with respect to the safety of River Rafting Activities, other than what is set forth in this agreement.

  • I agree that I am not nor will be under the influence of drugs or alcohol while participating in River Rafting Activities.

  • THE RELEASEES from all liability for property damage or personal injury, including to third parties, and all costs [including, without limitation, legal fees and disbursements on a solicitor and own client (full indemnity) basis], resulting from my participation in and, if applicable, participation of the Minor in, Rafting Activities or use of Rafting Equipment and Facilities or due to any cause related thereto.

  • I am aware that the physical exertion required to participate in River Rafting Activities and the forces exerted on the body can activate or aggravate pre-existing physical injuries, conditions, symptoms or congenital defects.

  • I acknowledge that I have been advised to wear a helmet and personal flotation device while participating in River Rafting Activities.

  • I understand that the river water is not safe for consumption.I understand that the Operators/Guides may refuse any person at any time, for specific reasons with no refund, to take part in any River Rafting Activities or undertake the tour.

  • AND ALL CLAIMS that I have or may in the future have against the ReleaseesAND TO RELEASE THE RELEASEES from any and all liability for any loss, damage, expense or injury including death that I may suffer, or that my next of kin may suffer, as a result of my participation in River Rafting Activities DUE TO ANY CAUSE WHATSOEVER, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY OR OTHER DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER THE OCCUPIERS LIABILITY ACT, R.S.B.C. 1996, c.

  • Some places of worship including cemetery and crematorium chapels are restricted by fire regulations regarding the number of people who may enter the building.

  • In entering into this agreement I am not relying on any oral or written representation or statements made by the RELEASEES with respect to the safety of River Rafting Activities, other than what is set forth in this Agreement.

  • I agree to photographs and/or videos taken of me during my participation in the River Rafting Activities, and to the publication thereof by the Operators for advertising, promotional and marketing purposes for which I will receive no financial compensation.


More Definitions of Rafting Activities

Rafting Activities means the raft or boat trip, plus before during or after the raft or boat trip, anything related to or connected with the raft or boat trip including, but not limited to; use or occupation of Rafting Equipment (defined hereinafter); orientation and instruction sessions, if any; direct and indirect communication (including electronic) and physical and non-physical interaction with and between any and all participants and the Releasee; all transportation or travel; loading, unloading, entering, occupying or using Rafting Equipment and land of the Province; and all other activities on or near the water.

Related to Rafting Activities

  • Competing Activities means the same or similar services as Xxxxxx Xxx Ltd is providing to the Restaurant under this Agreement or other activities having a similar purpose.

  • Interfering Activities means (A) recruiting, encouraging, soliciting, or inducing, or in any manner attempting to recruit, encourage, solicit, or induce, any Person employed by, or providing consulting services to, any member of the Company Group to terminate such Person’s employment or services (or in the case of a consultant, materially reducing such services) with the Company Group, (B) hiring, or engaging any individual who was employed by or providing services to the Company Group within the six (6) month period prior to the date of such hiring or engagement, or (C) encouraging, soliciting, or inducing, or in any manner attempting to encourage, solicit, or induce, any Business Relation to cease doing business with or reduce the amount of business conducted with the Company Group, or in any way interfering with the relationship between any such Business Relation and the Company Group.

  • Contracting activity for DoD also means elements designated by the director of a defense agency which has been delegated contracting authority through its agency charter. DoD contracting activities are listed at PGI 202.101.

  • Motorcycling Activities means performing or participating in any capacity in any authorised or recognised Motorcycling Organisation event, meeting or activity;
