RA Capacity definition

RA Capacity means the maximum megawatt amount that the CAISO recognizes from a Project that qualifies for Buyer’s Resource Adequacy Requirements and is associated with the Project’s Capacity Attributes.
RA Capacity means the qualifying and deliverable capacity of the Unit for RAR or LAR and, if applicable, Flexible RAR purposes for the Delivery Period, as determined by the CAISO or other Governmental Body authorized to make such determination under Applicable Laws. RA Capacity encompasses the RA Attributes, LAR Attributes, and if applicable, Flexible RA Attributes of the capacity provided by a Unit.
RA Capacity means Capacity that is available to Buyer to satisfy its Resource Adequacy Requirement, or successor Capacity value mechanism administered by the CPUC and/or the CAISO.

Examples of RA Capacity in a sentence

  • A Non-Generator Resource that elects to provide Flexible RA Capacity and Regulation Energy Management is not eligible to be included in this category.

  • If a Scheduling Coordinator for an RA Resource submits a partial bid for the resource’s RA Capacity, the CAISO will insert a Generated Bid only for the remaining RA Capacity.

  • For each day the substitute resource is committed to provide Flexible RA Capacity and/or RA Substitute Capacity in more than one Flexible Capacity Category, the RAAIM Availability Assessment applies the must-offer obligation for the highest quality Flexible Capacity Category to the total MWs of the flexible capacity requirement.

  • The Capacity of a resource with a Load-following MSS as its Scheduling Coordinator that is designated on a Load-following MSS’s monthly Flexible RA Plan is exempt from the RAAIM provisions in Section 40.10 applicable to Flexible RA Capacity, to the extent that the resource’s capacity is also designated as Flexible RA Capacity on the monthly Supply Plan of that Load-following MSS or another Load-following MSS.

RA Capacity means for any given period of time, the transferrable qualifying and deliverable capacity of the Facility for RAR purposes allocated to Buyer for such period of time, as determined by the CAISO or other Governmental Authority authorized to make such determination under Requirements of Law.
