Question of Privilege definition

Question of Privilege means any report of an act which may constitute a breach of privilege or contempt of Parliament in terms of the Powers and Privileges Act;
Question of Privilege means raising of a question which concerns a Member, or Council collectively, when a Member believes that another Member has spoken disrespectfully towards them or Council, or when they believe their comments have been misunderstood or misinterpreted by another Member;
Question of Privilege means a matter that a Member considers to question their integrity or the integrity of Council, which relates to the rights and privileges of the assembly or any of its Members to be brought up for possible immediate consideration because of its urgency.

Question of Privilege. – shall mean a statement by a Member calling attention to a matter where the personal comfort or integrity of an individual or the entire Council or Committee is perceived to be in question.
