Qualifying Entry definition

Qualifying Entry means the successful submission of a completed entry by a Participant together with any other information requested. The completion and validity of the particulars of each entry shall be determined at the Administrator’s sole discretion.

  • Each Qualifying Entry constitutes that entrant’s consent to participate in this Sweepstakes and consent for Sponsor to obtain and deliver the entrant’s name, address, e-mail address, telephone number and other information to Sponsor for the purpose of administering this Sweepstakes and for other uses by Sponsor as permitted by applicable law.

  • A customer’s registered Tops BonusPlus, BonusCard or Wild Card must be scanned at the time of entry for the entry to be a Qualifying Entry.

  • Sponsor has the sole and absolute discretion to determine whether an Entry qualifies as a Qualifying Entry.

  • A Qualifying Keno Ticket is only eligible for one (1) Qualifying Entry per Eligible Participant.

  • Eligible Cardmembers will be entitled to one (1) Qualifying Entry for every RM100 “Qualifying Spend” in a single transaction at HomePro IOI City Mall Putrajaya and stand to win Prizes stated in Clause 4.

  • Eligible Cardmembers are entitled to one (1) Qualifying Entry automatically for every RM100 (“Qualified Spend”) cumulative spend at all AEON stores, AEON MaxValu and/or AEON Wellness in Malaysia (“Valid Stores) and stand to win prizes stated in Clause 4.

  • By submitting a Qualifying Entry, the eligible Entrant also agrees to enter into a separateagreement for assignment of rights to the Organizer and any other required documents (to the extent this is required by applicable law) or as otherwise required.

  • qualifying entity shall have the meaning set forth in Section 5.2.13(b) hereof.

  • Qualifying Dependent means, for Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account purposes,

  • Qualifying Event means, during the Participant’s Services with the Company and its Affiliates, the Participant’s death or Disability.

  • Qualifying Retirement means the Employee’s voluntary termination of employment after the Employee has (i) attained (X) age sixty-five (65), (Y) age fifty-five (55) with ten (10) Years of Service as a full-time employee of the Partnership or any of its Affiliates, or (Z) an age which, when added to such Years of Service of the Employee equals at least seventy-five (75), and (ii) previously delivered a written notice of retirement to the Partnership and on the date of retirement the Employee has satisfied the minimum applicable advance written notice requirement set forth below: Age at Voluntary Termination Number of Years of Advance Notice 58 or younger 59 60 or older 3 years 2 years 1 year By way of illustration, and without limiting the foregoing, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee later terminates employment at age fifty-nine (59), then the Employee’s retirement at age fifty-nine (59) would not constitute a Qualifying Retirement. However, if (i) the Employee is eligible to retire at age fifty-nine (59) after ten (10) Years of Service, (ii) the Employee gives two (2) years notice at age fifty-eight (58) that the Employee intends to retire at age sixty (60), and (iii) the Employee terminates employment upon reaching age sixty (60), then the Employee’s retirement at age sixty (60) would constitute a Qualifying Retirement.

  • Qualifying Notes means, with respect to each applicable series of senior preferred debt securities, each series of senior non preferred debt securities and each series of subordinated debt securities, at any time, any securities issued directly by Banco Santander that have terms not otherwise materially less favorable to the holders of the senior preferred debt securities of such series, senior non preferred debt securities of such series or subordinated debt securities of such series than the terms of the senior preferred debt securities of such series, senior non preferred debt securities of such series or subordinated debt securities of such series, as applicable, provided that Banco Santander shall have delivered a certificate signed by two directors of Banco Santander to that effect to the Trustee not less than five Business Days prior to (x) in the case of a substitution of the senior preferred debt securities of the applicable series, the senior non preferred debt securities of any series or the subordinated debt securities of any series, as applicable, pursuant to “—Substitution and Variation”, the issue date of the relevant securities or (y) in the case of a variation of the senior preferred debt securities of the applicable series, the senior non preferred debt securities of any series or the subordinated debt securities of any series, as applicable, pursuant to “—Substitution and Variation”, the date such variation becomes effective, provided that such securities shall:

  • Qualifying country means a country with a reciprocal defense procurement memorandum of understanding or international agreement with the United States in which both countries agree to remove barriers to purchases of supplies produced in the other country or services performed by sources of the other country, and the memorandum or agreement complies, where applicable, with the requirements of section 36 of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2776) and with 10 U.S.C. 2457. Accordingly, the following are qualifying countries:

  • qualifying interest means the aggregate interest, discount or original issue discount receivable by a resident individual in any year of income

  • qualifying course means a qualifying course as defined for the purposes of Parts 2 and 4 of the Jobseeker’s Allowance Regulations 1996;

  • Qualifying Property means a primary residence that a qualified applicant owned and occupied

  • Qualifying Educational Program means a program at a post-secondary school level of not less than three consecutive weeks duration that requires each student taking the program to spend not less than 10 hours per week on courses or work in that program.

  • Qualifying tax rate means the applicable tax rate for the taxable year for the which the taxpayer paid income tax to a municipal corporation with respect to any portion of the total amount of compensation the payment of which is deferred pursuant to a nonqualified deferred compensation plan. If different tax rates applied for different taxable years, then the “qualifying tax rate” is a weighted average of those different tax rates. The weighted average shall be based upon the tax paid to the municipal corporation each year with respect to the nonqualified deferred compensation plan.

  • Certifying entity means an independent certifying organization meeting the agency's requirements for documenting applicant's training in topics set forth in 12VAC5-481-1320 or equivalent state or NRC regulations.

  • New Qualifying Jobs means the total number of jobs to be created by the Applicant after the Application Approval Date in connection with the project that is the subject of its Application that meet the criteria of Qualifying Job as defined in Section 313.021(3) of the TEXAS TAX CODE and the Comptroller’s Rules.

  • Qualifying Facility means an electric energy generating facility that complies with the qualifying facility definition established by PURPA and any FERC rules as amended from time to time (18 Code of Federal Regulations Part 292, Section 292.203 et seq.) implementing PURPA and, to the extent required to obtain or maintain Qualifying Facility status, is self-certified as a Qualifying Facility or is certified as a Qualified Facility by the FERC.

  • Qualifying corporation means any person classified for federal income tax purposes as an association taxable as a corporation, except either of the following:

  • Qualifying project means (i) any education facility, including, but not limited to a school building, any functionally related and subordinate facility and land of a school building (including any stadium or other facility primarily used for school events), and any depreciable property provided for use in a school facility that is operated as part of the public school system or as an institution of higher education; (ii) any building or facility that meets a public purpose and is developed or operated by or for any public entity; (iii) any improvements, together with equipment, necessary to enhance public safety and security of buildings to be principally used by a public entity; (iv) utility and telecommunications and other communications infrastructure; (v) a recreational facility; (vi) technology infrastructure and services, including, but not limited to, telecommunications, automated data processing, word processing and management information systems, and related information, equipment, goods and services; (vii) any technology, equipment, or infrastructure designed to deploy wireless broadband services to schools, businesses, or residential areas; or (viii) any improvements necessary or desirable to any unimproved locally- or state-owned real estate.
