Purified water definition

Purified water means bottled water produced by distillation, deionization, reverse osmosis, or other suitable process and that meets the definition of purified water in the most recent edition of the United States Pharmacopeia. Water that meets this definition and is vaporized, then condensed, may be labeled "distilled water."
Purified water means water that meets the requirements for ionic and organic chemistry purity and protection from microbial contamination specified in section 1231 of the official compendium.
Purified water means water produced by distillation, deionization, reverse osmosis, or other method of equal effectiveness that meets the requirements for purified water as described in the 21st Edition of the United States Pharmacopoeia issued by Mack Publishing, Easton, Penn. 18042.
