Purchased Leave definition

Purchased Leave means a form of additional paid leave whereby an employee elects to purchase up to a maximum of four weeks additional paid leave per year, by having the employer set aside a portion of their weekly wage, for a period of up to 12 months prior to clearing the additional leave, equal to the value of the additional paid leave.
Purchased Leave means an entitlement whereby employees (other than Casual Employees) may have access to between one (1) and four (4) weeks unpaid leave per year, on a planned basis, in addition to Annual Leave and other entitlements. Redundancy has the meaning given to that term in the Redundancy Provisions.
Purchased Leave means additional annual leave funded through the reduction of ordinary salary rate by the number of weeks of purchased leave and annualised at a pro rata rate over a twelve month period.
