Pupil Records definition

Pupil Records. Means both of the following: (1) Any information that directly relates to a pupil that is maintained by LEA and (2) any information acquired directly from the pupil through the use of instructional software or applications assigned to the pupil by a teacher or other local educational LEA employee.
Pupil Records. Means both of the following: (1) Any information that directly relates to a pupil that is maintained by School Unit and (2) any information acquired directly from the pupil through the use of instructional software or applications assigned to the pupil by a teacher or other School Unit employee. For the purposes of this Agreement, Pupil Records shall be the same as Educational Records and Covered Information. Service Agreement: Refers to the Contract or Purchase Order that this DPA supplements and modifies.

Examples of Pupil Records in a sentence

  • Upon termination of the Agreement, SI&A shall provide to District the certification required by Education Code section 49073.1(b)(7) with respect to any Pupil Records provided to SI&A by District pursuant to the Agreement.

  • With respect to any and all data and records provided to SI&A by District or derived from data or records provided by District that are not Pupil Records or SI&A Confidential Information (“District Information”), SI&A shall preserve such District Information for a period of not less than one year.


More Definitions of Pupil Records

Pupil Records means any record related to a student that is maintained by a school or one of its employees. It includes health records. It does not include “directory information” or a school employee's informal notes, if the notes remain in the sole possession of the maker and are not made available to others, except to a substitute.
