Public Safety Director definition

Public Safety Director means that individual having the power under the Charter or Columbus City Codes of appointment to, or removal from, a position with the City. For purposes of this Contract, the Public Safety Director is the Appointing Authority.

  • Should the Chief choose not to offer this option or should the member reject the Chief's offer, the Chief shall transmit the departmental charges to the Public Safety Director for a departmental hearing.

  • Such access and copies, if requested in a timely manner, shall be provided reasonably in advance of any hearing by the Chief or Public Safety Director.
