Public health purposes definition

Public health purposes means the activities of a public health authority for preventing or controlling disease, injury, or disability including, but not limited to, the reporting of disease, injury, vital events such as birth or death, and the conduct of public health surveillance, investigations, and interventions.

  • If an Expenditure is approved by MCW and by a majority of the members of the Committee, such Expenditure shall be deemed to comply with the terms of this Section 2.2 (including, without limitation, the requirement that the Public Health Percentage be Expended for Public Health Purposes) and such approval shall be binding on the Foundation.
