Public health official definition

Public health official means the Director of the Bureau of Health or any designated employee or agent of the Department of Health and Human Services.[PL 1991, c. 146, §1 (AMD); PL 2003, c. 689, Pt. B, §6 (REV).]

Public health official means the head officer or official of a state or local public health agency who is responsible for the operation of the agency and has the authority to manage and supervise the agency’s activities.
