Public Engagement definition

Public Engagement means direct interaction with members of the public for the purpose of sharing information, increasing awareness or obtaining feedback or input related to a specific topic or subject relating to visiting or living in Banff. Examples include Town initiatives such as public education on waste diversion tactics for households, input on Town policies, Parks Canada interpretive activities on wildlife, and not-for-profit community group activities. These may exist within a larger Special Event or constitute a distinct Special Event.
