Provincial Road definition

Provincial Road means any road, street, lane, alley, trail or path, other than a divided or paved Provincial Highway, the title to which is vested in Saskatchewan or which has been set aside for such purposes under The Northwest Territories Act, R.S.C. 1886, c. 50, or any statute of the Province of Saskatchewan, and includes a bridge, culvert, drain or public improvement erected upon or in connection with the same and which is intended for or used by the general public for the passage of vehicles;
Provincial Road means a road under the administration and control of British Columbia;
Provincial Road means the full road reserve of any road proclaimed or designated as such for the use of the general public under this Act or under a law repealed by this Act in terms of section 60, and includes a temporary deviation thereof, but excludes—

Examples of Provincial Road in a sentence

  • Where a Provincial Road which is used primarily to provide access to locations within an Entitlement Reserve ceases to be used as a Provincial Road, it shall be dealt with as an Undeveloped Road Allowance under this Article.
