  • If a Municipal Tag has been issued and if the specified penalty has not been paid within the prescribed time, then a Peace Officer is hereby authorized and empowered to issue a Violation Ticket pursuant to the Provincial Offences Procedure Act.

  • Nothing in this bylaw shall prevent a Peace Officer from immediately issuing a violation ticket pursuant to Part II of the Provincial Offences Procedure Act, R.S.A. 2000, c.P-34, as amended, to any Person who the Peace Officer has reasonable grounds to believe has contravened any provision of this bylaw.

  • Notwithstanding Section 7.6.1, a Peace Officer is hereby authorized and empowered to immediately issue a Violation Ticket pursuant to the Provincial Offences Procedure Act, to any person who the Peace Officer has reasonable and probable grounds to believe has contravened any provision of this Bylaw.

  • Nothing in this bylaw shall prevent any Community Peace Officer from issuing a ticket requiring a court appearance of the defendant, pursuant to the provisions of the Provincial Offences Procedure Act or from laying an information in lieu of issuing a Town Notice of Offence.

  • Where a Peace Officer believes that a Person has contravened any provision of this Bylaw, that Peace Officer may serve that Person with a Violation Ticket in accordance with Part 2 of the Provincial Offences Procedure Act.
