PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. 48.1 An Association observer will be present at the final appraisal unless otherwise requested.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. To the extent that a College/University has a locally negotiated or accepted procedure and/or practice regarding promotions for full time faculty, they shall remain in full force and effect until such time as a change is locally negotitated in accordance with the New Jersey Employer-Employee Relations Act and its governing regulations. At other Colleges/Universities, the following procedures shall apply unless and until changed through local negotiations in accordance with the New Jersey Employer-Employee Relations Act and its governing regulations.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. A. Full-time faculty members whose qualifications meet or exceed the requirements for a higher academic rank shall be eligible for promotional consideration to that rank. Faculty members who are promoted shall advance four (4) salary ranges. Their new salaries shall be computed pursuant to Article XXII, Section C.1.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. Within one hundred eighty (180) days of a permanent vacancy above the rank of patrolman occurring, a permanent vacancy that it not abolished as described above shall be filled according to merit and fitness ascertained through an objective, competitive examination, administered from outside the City as selected by the City of East Cleveland Civil Service Commission.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. The parties have agreed to a promotional procedure described more fully in Appendix "B", which is incorporated herein by reference.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. 20.1.1 The City, Fire Administration and the Union agree to meet on an as needed basis to discuss and develop a promotional process and to recommend the process to the CAO, Director of Human Resources and Fire Chief.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. 1. Promotion recommendations will be initiated by the Department Chairperson’s Division School Xxxx; Department Chairs shall be informed through the annual evaluation process whether or not they have been recommended. Department Chairpersons not recommended for promotion by their School Xxxx may initiate a promotion recommendation on their own behalf.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. Section 1. No employee shall be eligible for promotion under these provisions who has not satisfactorily completed the required probationary period. The employee must be qualified according to existing State and/or County standards, if applicable, must have occupied his her current classification for a minimum of six (6) months, must have not requested a voluntary demotion within the six (6) months immediately preceding the date of the posting, and must not have experienced a probationary failure or have been suspended for reason of inefficiency, incompetence, or absenteeism within the twelve
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. Section 1. Promotional opportunities within the bargaining unit will be posted in accord with University procedures, and bargaining unit members may apply within those procedures. Supplemental notices of such vacancies will also be posted on Department bulletin boards, announced at line up, attached to officers’ paychecks, and emailed to officers. Copies of postings will be mailed to officers on leave. The job posting shall include the job description, necessary qualifications and a description of the selection procedure. Bargaining unit members who have a minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Yale University Police Officer as of the time of application may apply.
PROMOTIONAL PROCEDURE. Promotion to the position for Sergeant, Detective and Detective Sergeant within the Sheriff’s Office shall be made by competitive examinations as follows; Twenty five percent (25%) for written examination; Twenty percent (20%) for service record; (30%) for oral examination; and twenty five (25%) for seniority. The Sheriff has the right to appoint at his discretion one person to the rank of detective. This position will carry with it all the benefits and wages of a detective.
