Project Water definition

Project Water means water made available for delivery to the contractors by project conservation facilities and the transportation facilities included in the System.

Project Water means all Surface Water diverted or scheduled to be 4 diverted each month during the period April through October of each Year by the Contractor 5 from the Sacramento River which is in excess of the Base Supply. The United States recognizes 6 the right of the Contractor to make arrangements for acquisition of water from projects of others 7 than the United States for delivery through the Sacramento River and tributaries subject to 8 written agreement between Contractor and the United States as to identification of such water, 9 which water, when so identified, shall not be deemed Project Water under this Settlement

Project Water means all water that is developed, diverted, stored, or 133 delivered by the Secretary in accordance with the statutes authorizing the Central Valley Project and in 134 accordance with the terms and conditions of applicable water rights acquired pursuant to California 135 law;

• There shall be credited against the amount of the variable operation, maintenance, and power component to be paid by each Contractor, as determined pursuant to subdivision (a) of this article, a portion of the projected net value of any power recovered during the respective year at project aqueduct power recovery plants located upstream on the particular aqueduct reach from the delivery structures for delivery of Project Water to the Contractor.

• Such portion shall be in an amount which bears the same proportion to such projected net value that the number of acre-feet of Project Water delivered to the Contractor through such plants during the year bears to the number of acre-feet of Project Water delivered to all Contractors through such plants during the year.
