Prohibited expenditure in relation to this policy means unauthorised, irregular, fruitless and wasteful expenditure;

  • Excluded Expenditure means any expenditure:

  • Qualified expenditures means capital expenditures that qualify, or would qualify except that the taxpayer entered into an agreement under subsection (13), for a rehabilitation credit under section 47(a)(2) of the internal revenue code if the taxpayer is eligible for the credit under section 47(a)(2) of the internal revenue code or, if the taxpayer is not eligible for the credit under section 47(a)(2) of the internal revenue code, the qualified expenditures that would qualify under section 47(a)(2) of the internal revenue code except that the expenditures are made to an historic resource that is not eligible for the credit under section 47(a)(2) of the internal revenue code that were paid. Qualified expenditures do not include capital expenditures for nonhistoric additions to an historic resource except an addition that is required by state or federal regulations that relate to historic preservation, safety, or accessibility.

  • Planned Expenditures shall have the meaning provided in the definition of the term Excess Cash Flow.

  • Prohibited Payment means any bribe, rebate, payoff, influence payment, kickback or other payment or gift of money or anything of value (including meals or entertainment) to any officer, employee or ceremonial office holder of any government or instrumentality thereof, political party or supra-national organization (such as the United Nations), any political candidate, any royal family member or any other person who is connected or associated personally with any of the foregoing that is prohibited under any Law for the purpose of influencing any act or decision of such payee in his official capacity, inducing such payee to do or omit to do any act in violation of his lawful duty, securing any improper advantage or inducing such payee to use his influence with a government or instrumentality thereof to affect or influence any act or decision of such government or instrumentality.

  • Uncovered expenditures means the costs to the health care

  • Independent expenditure means an expenditure by a person:

  • qualifying expenditure means, in respect of any Accounting Year or Accounting Half- Year, the aggregate of the costs, expenses and fees described in paragraph 1 of Annex 2 which are incurred during that Accounting Year or Accounting Half-Year, calculated in accordance with paragraphs 2 and 3 of Annex 2;

  • Prohibited Party As of any date of determination, any Person that has theretofore failed to comply with such Person’s obligations under Regulation AB with respect to the Trust Fund or any other securitization if (and only if) both (A) such failure was an “event of default” under the relevant agreement to which such Person was a party, and (B) such Person is proposed to become a Servicing Function Participant in respect of the Trust Fund. In determining whether any person or entity is a “Prohibited Party”, each party hereto, provided that they are not an Affiliate of such Person, shall be entitled to conclusively rely on a written certification from any Person stating that it is not a Prohibited Party. All necessary determinations under or for purposes of this definition shall be made as of the date of consummation of the transaction in which the relevant person or entity would become a Servicing Function Participant in respect of the Trust Fund.

  • Capital Expenditure Budget shall constitute an estimate for the applicable period of the capital expenditures required to (i) accomplish capital enhancement projects included in the most recently approved Strategic Plan, (ii) maintain and preserve the Partnership's assets in good operating condition and repair and (iii) achieve or maintain compliance with any HSE Law.

  • Exploration Expenditures means the sum of:

  • Permitted Capital Expenditures has the meaning given that term in Section 9.12(b).

  • local expenditures means expenditures in the currency of the Borrower or for goods or services supplied from the territory of the Borrower; and

  • Ineligible Expenditures means the costs that are ineligible for payment under the terms and conditions of the Agreement, and that are described in Schedule “E” (Eligible Expenditures and Ineligible Expenditures).
