Profit or Losses definition

Profit or Losses means, for each Fiscal Year or other applicable period, an amount equal to the Partnership’s taxable income or loss for such year or period, determined in accordance with Section 703(a) of the Code (for this purpose, all items of income, gain, loss or deduction required to be stated separately pursuant to Section 703(a) of the Code shall be included in taxable income or loss), with the following adjustments:

  • The directors are responsible for the preparation of the supplementary information in accordance with the Guidance on Special Matter No.1, Determination of Realised and Unrealised Profit or Losses in the Context of Disclosure Pursuant to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements, as issued by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (“MIA Guidance”) and the directive of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad.

  • Profit or Losses on investment are calculated on FIFO Method and are accounted as and when realized.

  • All Commercialization Costs incurred by the Parties in connection with the Commercialization of each Co-Promoted Product in the Partner Territory shall be included in the calculation of Operating Profit (or Losses) for such Co-Promoted Product, and shall be allocated between the Parties on a [*] basis in accordance with Section 8.2, with specific financial flow to be agreed by the Parties.

  • The supplementary information set out in Note 38 to the financial statements have been prepared in accordance with the Guidance on Special Matter No.1, Determination of Realised and Unrealised Profit or Losses in the Context of Disclosure Pursuant to Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad Listing Requirements, as issued by the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.

  • Profit or Losses on disposal of Financial Assets are accounted for in the Statement of Profit or Loss on the basis of realised net profit or loss.Finance costs comprises of interest expense on borrowings and the changes in the fair value of financial assets.

  • Net Losses means, for each fiscal year or other period, an amount equal to the Partnership's taxable income or loss for such year or period determined in accordance with Code Section 703(a) (for this purpose, all items of income, gain, loss or deduction required to be stated separately pursuant to Code Section 703(a)(1) shall be included in taxable income or loss), with the following adjustments:

  • Loss or Losses means all losses, damages, liabilities, deficiencies, claims, actions, judgments, settlements, interest, awards, penalties, fines, costs or expenses of whatever kind, including reasonable attorneys' fees and the costs of enforcing any right to indemnification hereunder and the cost of pursuing any insurance providers.

  • Net Loss means, for each fiscal year or other applicable period, an amount equal to the Partnership’s taxable income or loss for such year or period as determined for federal income tax purposes by the General Partner, determined in accordance with Section 703(a) of the Code (for this purpose, all items of income, gain, loss or deduction required to be stated separately pursuant to Section 703(a) of the Code shall be included in taxable income or loss), adjusted as follows:

  • Liquidating Losses means any net loss realized in connection with the actual or hypothetical sale of all or substantially all of the assets of the Partnership (including upon the occurrence of any event of liquidation of the Partnership), including but not limited to net loss realized in connection with an adjustment to the book value of Partnership assets under Section 6.2 hereof.

  • Tax Losses has the meaning assigned to such term in Section 7.1(a).

  • Aggregate Net Losses means, with respect to a Collection Period, an amount equal to the aggregate Principal Balance of all Receivables that became Defaulted Receivables during such Collection Period minus all Net Liquidation Proceeds collected during such Collection Period with respect to all Defaulted Receivables.

  • Profits and Losses means, for each Fiscal Year or other period, an amount equal to the Company's taxable income or loss for such year or period, determined in accordance with Code Section 703(a) (for this purpose, all items of income, gain, loss, or deduction required to be stated separately pursuant to Code Section 703(a)(l) shall be included in taxable income or loss), with the following adjustments:

  • Cumulative Net Losses means, as of any date of determination, the aggregate cumulative principal amount of all Receivables that have become Liquidated Receivables since the Initial Cutoff Date, net of all Net Liquidation Proceeds and Recoveries with respect to such Receivables as of last day of the most recently ended Collection Period.

  • Net Realized Losses For any Class of Certificates and any Distribution Date, the excess of (i) the amount of Realized Losses previously allocated to that Class over (ii) the amount of any increases to the Class Certificate Principal Balance of that Class pursuant to Section 5.08 due to Recoveries.

  • distribution losses means energy losses that result from the interaction of intrinsic characteristics of the distribution network such as electrical resistance with network voltages and current flows;

  • Tax Allocations means the allocations set forth in paragraph 4 of Exhibit B.

  • Allocation Year Means (i) the period commencing on the Closing Date and ending on December 31, 2006, (ii) any subsequent period commencing on January 1 and ending on the following December 31, or (iii) any portion of the period described in clause (ii) for which the Company is required to allocate Profits, Losses and other items of Company income, gain, loss or deduction pursuant to Article V.

  • After-Tax Contributions means amounts withheld from an Employee’s Compensation pursuant to a Salary Reduction Agreement after all applicable state and federal taxes have been deducted. Such amounts are withheld for purposes of purchasing one or more of the Benefit Package Options available under the Plan.

  • Cumulative Realized Losses As of any date of determination, the aggregate amount of Realized Losses with respect to the Mortgage Loans.

  • Taxable Allocation means, with respect to any Series, the allocation of any net capital gains or other income taxable for federal income tax purposes to a dividend paid in respect of such Series.

  • Taxable income means, in the case of an individual, federal adjusted gross income determined without regard to 26 U.S.C. § 168(k) and:

  • Seller Losses has the meaning set forth in Section 10.2(a).

  • Buyer Losses shall have the meaning set forth in Section 8.2.

  • Capital Accounts An individual capital account shall be maintained for each Partner, and capital contributions to the Partnership by the Partners shall be credited to such accounts. Partnership profits or losses shall also be charged or credited to the separate capital accounts in the manner provided in this Agreement. No interest shall be paid on the capital account of any Partner.

  • Tax Distributions has the meaning set forth in Section 4.01(b)(i).

  • Unrealized losses means the fair market value of the cost to such Person of replacing such Rate Management Transaction as of the date of determination (assuming the Rate Management Transaction were to be terminated as of that date), and “unrealized profits” means the fair market value of the gain to such Person of replacing such Rate Management Transaction as of the date of determination (assuming such Rate Management Transaction were to be terminated as of that date).

  • Net Taxable Income has the meaning set forth in Section 4.01(b)(i).
