Professional Improvement Leave definition

Professional Improvement Leave means a leave of absence granted by the Employer at its discretion on application by a teacher for study designed to improve the teacher’s academic or professional education.

Examples of Professional Improvement Leave in a sentence

  • All sworn bargaining unit members are eligible to receive Professional Improvement Leave for the purpose described in section A of this Article, if approved by the department head or designee.
