Professional employees definition

Professional employees organization” means any organization with membership open to professional employees, as defined in subdivision (11), in which the employees participate and that exists for the purpose, in whole or in part, of dealing with boards of education concerning, but not limited to, grievances, wages, hours of employment or conditions of work. The organizations may establish reasonable rules and regulations for conducting business, including provisions for the dismissal of individuals from membership;
Professional employees organizations" means any one or more organizations, agencies, committees, councils or groups of any kind in which professional employees participate, and which exist for the purpose, in whole or part, of engaging in professional negotiation with boards of education with respect to the terms and conditions of professional service or for the purpose of professional development or liability protection.

Examples of Professional employees in a sentence

  • Professional employees and academic administrators are generally classified as exempt and are paid monthly salaries.
