Production efficiency definition

Production efficiency means investments and actions that save electric energy from power consuming equipment and fixtures at an electric generating facility. The installation of electric power pro- duction equipment that increases the amount of power generated for the same energy input is not production efficiency in this chapter or con- servation under RCW 19.285.030(4) because no reduction in electric power consumption occurs.
Production efficiency means the annual site energy usage in a Covered MAI building divided by a standard manufacturing or agricultural production unit(s), such as kBtu per widgets produced or kBtu per pounds of flower produced.

Examples of Production efficiency in a sentence

  • Production efficiency depends on what takes place within the firm: combining factors of production in ways that maximize output; purchasing inputs in proportions to their relative prices; etc.

  • Firms aimed at building long-term relationships with their customers.b. There was a loss of personal pride in the production process.c. Production efficiency was at its lowest.d. There was a creation of individual ownership in the production process.

  • Production efficiency improved significantly in the US due to the installation of dry-process kilns at the Maine and South Carolina plants.

  • Production efficiency is always guaranteed in any market allocation of the one-sector model: the monopolistic markup does not induce any cross-sectoral distortions in the allocation of labor because of inelastic labor supply.

  • Production efficiency occurs when an economy is maximising the output attainable from its given set of resources.

  • Firms aimed at building long-term relationships with their customers.b. There was a gain of personal pride in the production process.c. Production efficiency was at its lowest.d. There was a loss of individual ownership in the production process.

  • Production efficiency is, after all, the least debated normative principle of taxation.

  • Production efficiency may be distorted unless – despite of the OCP formally applying – producer prices converge at a significantly higher speed than consumer prices.

  • Production efficiency is independent of the type of technology used.

  • If the back is thinned towards the centre then the frequency of resonance no 2 is lowered more than that of resonance no 5.

Related to Production efficiency

  • Irrigation efficiency (IE) means the measurement of the amount of water beneficially used divided by the amount of water applied. Irrigation efficiency is derived from measurements and estimates of irrigation system characteristics and management practices. The irrigation efficiency for purposes of this ordinance are 0.75 for overhead spray devices and 0.81 for drip systems.
