Examples of Probable cause in a sentence
Employees placed on Probable Cause duty shall receive $225.00 per week for each week so scheduled, or $250 if an observed holiday occurs during the assigned week, and shall receive such compensation whether or not required to respond during the standby period.
Employees receiving such compensation shall not be eligible to accrue PCTO for time spent preparing for or participating in the Probable Cause hearing.
Records of section 1.02 incidents shall be maintained by SBBC, in a manner consistent with the requirements of a Probable Cause Affidavit as mandated by F.S.985.13, and said information may be reported to law enforcement by SBBC should the youth willfully fail to complete sanctions.
Probable Cause Testing: A member will only be tested if an administrator/supervisor trained in the detection of alcohol and drug use determines there is reasonable suspicion, based on use of the BWC Drug Free Workplace Program Reasonable Suspicion Checklist, that the member is at work under the influence of illegal drugs or alcohol.
Substance testing may be implemented when there is “probable cause.” Probable Cause shall be defined as those circumstances, based on objective evidence about the employee’s conduct in the workplace that would cause a reasonable person to believe that the employee is demonstrating signs of impairment due to alcohol or drugs.
