Private Water System definition

Private Water System means a source of water other than the Corporation's water distribution system.

Private Water System means any privately owned pipe and fittings intended for the delivery or distribution of water within a premise or to a property and includes any domestic use, irrigation system, green house and hydroponics system, and any other use of water supplied by the Waterworks System;

Private Water System means any supply which provides water for drinking, culinary, and sanitary purposes and serves an owner-occupied single family dwelling. (Section 9(a)(5) of the Illinois Groundwater Protection Act [415 ILCS 55/9(a)(5)])

Private Water System means any water system, other than a public water supply system, for the provision of water for human consumption, if the system has fewer than fifteen service connections and does not regularly serve an average of at least twenty- five individuals daily at least sixty days each year. A private water system includes any:

Private Water System means a water system that provides piped water to one or two residences, one of which may be a rental residence.

A private water system may be a water service line to a single premise or structure or it may be a privately owned and maintained water distribution system, which serves more than one structure or premises. For the purpose of this section, once water from the town's public water system passes through the meter to the consumer’s side, that water is considered part of the private water system.

Private Water System means any water system for domestic use that is not owned, operated and maintained by the City.
