Price Return definition

Price Return means that the SGI Index reflects the performance of its underlying portfolio excluding reinvestment of any dividends, interest and other income.
Price Return means an amount equal to the price of a security assuming no reinvestment of net dividends. ’Primary Exchange’ means the Exchange on which the Component Security has its primary listing.
Price Return means, in relation to any index (such as an SGI Index, an Underlying Index or an Underlying SGI Index), that such index reflects the performance of its underlying portfolio excluding reinvestment of any dividends, interest and other income.

  • In case, TRI is not available for that particular period(s) to benchmark the scheme’s performance, a composite CAGR (Compounded Annualized Growth Rate) figure of the performance of the PRI (Price Return Variant of the Index) benchmark (till the date from which TRI is available) and TRI (subsequently) to compare the performance of the scheme is used.
