Preventive Service definition

Preventive Service means that service which precludes or deters development of disabilities including nutritional counseling, leisure activities, in-facility respite care and social and health activities and services.
Preventive Service means dental care intended to maintain dental health and prevent dental disease, including any combination of oral hygiene education, routine prophylaxis, and application of fluorides.
