Predecessor Notes definition

Predecessor Notes. With respect to any particular Note, every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 2.07 of the Indenture in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Note.

Predecessor Notes of any particular Note means every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 306 in lieu of a mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Note.

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Note, every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 2.05 of the Indenture in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Note (or a mutilated Note surrendered to the Trustee) shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Note (or a mutilated Note surrendered to the Trustee).

Examples of Predecessor Notes in a sentence

• Interest on any Note which is payable, and is punctually paid or duly provided for, on any Interest Payment Date shall be paid to the Person in whose name that Note (or one or more Predecessor Notes) is registered at the close of business on the Regular Record Date for such interest payment.

• Upon surrender of any such Note for redemption in accordance with said notice, such Note shall be paid by the Issuer at the Redemption Price, together with unpaid and accrued interest, if any, to the Redemption Date; provided, however, that installments of interest whose Stated Maturity is on or prior to the Redemption Date shall be payable to the Holders of such Notes, or one or more Predecessor Notes, registered as such at the close of business on the relevant record dates according to their terms.

• Any reduction in the principal amount of this Class A(2016-3) Note (or any one or more Predecessor Notes) effected by any payments made on any Payment Date shall be binding upon all future Holders of this Class A(2016-3) Note and of any Class A(2016-3) Note issued upon the registration of transfer hereof or in exchange hereof or in lieu hereof, whether or not noted hereon.

• Any reduction in the principal amount of this Class A(2015-1) Note (or any one or more Predecessor Notes) effected by any payments made on any Payment Date shall be binding upon all future Holders of this Class A(2015-1) Note and of any Class A(2015-1) Note issued upon the registration of transfer hereof or in exchange hereof or in lieu hereof, whether or not noted hereon.

• Interest on any Note which is payable, and is punctually paid or duly provided for, on any Interest Payment Date shall be paid to the Person in whose name that Note (or one or more Predecessor Notes) is registered at the close of business on the Regular Record Date immediately preceding the Interest Payment Date.

More Definitions of Predecessor Notes

Predecessor Notes means with respect to any particular Note, every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 2.4 of the Indenture in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Note (or a mutilated Note surrendered to Indenture Trustee) shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Note (or a mutilated Note surrendered to Indenture Trustee).

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Two-Year Note, every previous Two-Year Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Two-Year Note; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Two-Year Notes authenticated and delivered under Section 2.08 hereof in exchange for mutilated Notes or in lieu of lost, destroyed or stolen Two-Year Notes, shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Two-Year Notes.

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Five-Year Note, every previous Five-Year Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Five-Year Note; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Five-Year Notes authenticated and delivered under Section 2.08 hereof in exchange for mutilated Notes or in lieu of lost, destroyed or stolen Five-Year Notes, shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Five-Year Notes.

Predecessor Notes means, with respect to any particular Security, every previous Security evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Security; and, for the purposes of this definition, any Securities authenticated and delivered under Section 2.04 hereof in exchange for mutilated Notes or in lieu of lost, destroyed or stolen Securities, shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Securities.

Predecessor Notes. With respect to any particular Note, every previous Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Note; and, for the purpose of this definition, any Note authenticated and delivered under Section 17 or the terms of a Note in lieu of or in exchange for a mutilated, lost, destroyed, or stolen Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the mutilated, lost, destroyed or stolen Note, and any Note issued upon registration of transfer of or in exchange for any other Note shall be deemed to evidence all or a portion of the same debt evidenced by such other Note.

Predecessor Notes with respect to any particular Senior Secured Note, shall mean any previous Senior Secured Note evidencing all or a portion of the same debt as that evidenced by such particular Senior Secured Note; for the purposes of this definition, any Senior Secured Note authenticated and delivered pursuant to Section 2.08 in lieu of a lost, destroyed or stolen Senior Secured Note shall be deemed to evidence the same debt as the lost, destroyed or stolen Senior Secured Note.
