Pollution Control Corporation definition

Pollution Control Corporation means Coconino County, Arizona Pollution Control Corporation, an Arizona nonprofit corporation and a political subdivision of the State of Arizona incorporated for and with the approval of the County of Coconino, Arizona, pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution of the State of Arizona and the Act, its successors and their assigns.

  • The Pollution Control Corporation shall have the right, upon appropriate prior notice to the Company, to have reasonable access to the Facilities during normal business hours for the purpose of making examinations and inspections of the same.

  • In every case, the applicant for a substitute Bond shall furnish the Pollution Control Corporation, the Trustee and the Company such security or indemnity as may be required by any of them.

  • Upon receipt of written notification from the Trustee, the Pollution Control Corporation shall cooperate with the Trustee in enforcing the obligation of the Company to pay or cause to be paid all the payments and other costs and charges payable by the Company under the Loan Agreement.

  • The Pollution Control Corporation shall deliver any such instrument of appointment at the direction of the Company.

  • Pending the preparation of definitive Bonds, the Pollution Control Corporation may execute and the Trustee shall authenticate and deliver temporary Bonds.

  • A copy of each notice, certificate, request or other communication given hereunder to the Pollution Control Corporation, the Company, or the Trustee shall also be given to the others.

  • The Company and the Pollution Control Corporation agree that any moneys held in any fund or account created by the Indenture shall be invested as provided in the Indenture.

  • The Pollution Control Corporation shall at all times use its best efforts to maintain its corporate existence or assure the assumption of its obligations under this Indenture by any public body succeeding to its powers under the Act; and it shall at all times use its best efforts to comply with all valid acts, rules, regulations, orders and directions of any legislative, executive, administrative or judicial body known to it to be applicable to the Loan Agreement and this Indenture.

  • Transportation Company means any organization which provides its own or its leased vehicles for transportation or which provides freight forwarding or air express services.

  • Environmental Management Plan or “EMP” means the environmental management plan for the Project, including any update thereto, incorporated in the IEE;

  • Stormwater Pollution Prevention Plan or "SWPPP" means a document that is prepared in accordance with good engineering practices and that identifies potential sources of pollutants that may reasonably be expected to affect the quality of stormwater discharges from the construction site, and otherwise meets the requirements of this Ordinance. In addition the document shall identify and require the implementation of control measures, and shall include, but not be limited to the inclusion of, or the incorporation by reference of, an approved erosion and sediment control plan, an approved stormwater management plan, and a pollution prevention plan.

  • Renewable energy resources means energy derived from solar, wind, geothermal, biomass, and hydroelectricity. A fuel cell using hydrogen derived from these eligible resources is also an eligible electric generation technology. Fossil and nuclear fuels and their derivatives are not eligible resources.

  • Renewable energy resource means a resource that naturally replenishes over a human, not a geological, time frame and that is ultimately derived from solar power, water power, or wind power. Renewable energy resource does not include petroleum, nuclear, natural gas, or coal. A renewable energy resource comes from the sun or from thermal inertia of the earth and minimizes the output of toxic material in the conversion of the energy and includes, but is not limited to, all of the following:

  • Eligible Renewable Energy Resource or “ERR” has the meaning set forth in California Public Utilities Code Section 399.12 and California Public Resources Code Section 25741, as either code provision is amended or supplemented from time to time.

  • Natural resources means land, fish, wildlife, biota, air, water, ground water, drinking water supplies, and other such resources belonging to, managed by, held in trust by, appertaining to, or otherwise controlled by the United States or the State.

  • Pollution control facilities means water and air pollution control equipment and solid waste disposal facilities or any of them.

  • Natural Resource or “Natural Resources” shall mean land, fish, wildlife, biota, air, water, ground water, drinking water supplies, and other such resources, belonging to, managed by, held in trust by, appertaining to, or otherwise controlled by the United States or the State.

  • Renewable Energy Source means an energy source that is not fossil carbon-based, non- renewable or radioactive, and may include solar, wind, biomass, geothermal, landfill gas, or wave, tidal and thermal ocean technologies, and includes a Certified Renewable Energy Source.

  • Owners Corporation means the Owners’ corporation of the Lot and the Development incorporated and registered under the Building Management Ordinance (Cap.344);

  • Gas company means any person distributing gas within the corporate limits or authorized and proposing to so engage.

  • renewable energy sources means renewable sources such as small hydro, wind, solar including its integration with combined cycle, biomass, bio fuel cogeneration, urban or municipal waste and other such sources as approved by the MNRE;
