Plant equipment definition

Plant equipment as used in this part, means personal property of a capital nature (including equipment, machine tools, test equipment, furniture, vehicles, and accessory and auxiliary items) for use in manufacturing supplies, in performing services, or for any administrative or general plant purpose. It does not include special tooling or special test equipment.

Plant equipment and ‘Works’ shall mean respectively the goods to be supplied and services to be provided by the contractor.

Plant equipment means the apparatus, machinery and vehicles intended to form or forming part of the Permanent Works.

• From the date that Authorization to Proceed is issued to Contractor and until the date of Substantial Completion, Contractor shall provide all security at the Site for all Work and for Work performed in the vicinity of the Site, including but not limited to, security for all personnel, 150 Plant Equipment materials and other items thereon, the Plant, and for all equipment and personnel being transported by Contractor to and from the Site.

Plant equipment means the heating, ventilation, refrigeration, air-conditioning and other related equipment, not including fixtures or program supplies;
