Planned Outages definition

Planned Outages means those outages which the utility schedules. When customer service interruptions are necessary, the utility should notify affected customers in advance. These interruptions are sometimes necessary to connect new customers or perform maintenance activities safely. They shall not be included in the calculation of reliability indices.
Planned Outages means the period of time during which CCH conducts standard systems maintenance. CCH shall use reasonable efforts to schedule Planned Outages during non- peak hours. In the event CCH fails to achieve the Availability Requirement, CCH shall use commercially reasonable efforts to correct the interruption as promptly as practicable. In the event CCH fails to achieve the Availability Requirement in two consecutive months during the term of the Agreement, Customer may terminate the Agreement within thirty (30) days of the end of the second consecutive month, without further obligation and receive a prorated refund of any pre- paid, unused recurring fees. Such refund shall constitute Customer’s sole and exclusive remedy and CCH’s sole and exclusive liability for failure to achieve the Availability Requirement.
Planned Outages means any impact on service resulting from maintenance actions requested by or attributed to the customer or for scheduled or routine supplier maintenance operations

Examples of Planned Outages in a sentence

  • During all other months, Seller shall not schedule Planned Outages without the prior written consent of Buyer, which consent may not be unreasonably withheld or conditioned.

  • Seller shall not conduct Planned Outages during the months of January, May through September, and December.

  • Each Annual Forecast and Update will take into account the Long-term Planned Outages.

  • Seller shall also confirm or provide updates to Buyer regarding the Planned Outage by the earlier of fourteen (14) days prior to each Planned Outage or two (2) Business Days prior to the CAISO deadline for submitting Planned Outages.

  • Seller shall not conduct Planned Outages during the months of January, June through September, and December.


More Definitions of Planned Outages

Planned Outages shall have the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 3.08(a)(i) of this Agreement.

Unplanned service outages are given priority (and communicated immediately) on a case‐by‐case basis, depending on the type and urgency of the service failure.
Planned Outages means periods during which the Charging Equipment is taken offline for scheduled maintenance, on those dates determined by Seller and Purchaser pursuant to Section 4.4.
