Physical restorative services means those services prescribed by the attending physician or authorized nurse practitioner to address permanent loss of physical function due to hemiplegia or a spinal cord injury, or to address residuals of a severe head injury. Services are designed to restore and maintain the patient’s highest functional ability consistent with the patient’s condition.
