Phone Service definition

Phone Service means the service where calls (including voice, and/or fax and/or text) from your Address are routed to and/or from your local exchange over the telecommunications system(s) and the provision of a fixed line rental service including access to emergency services and caller location information all as provided by the Network Operator so as to allow you to make phone calls in accordance with your Agreement; Service(s) means, as the context requires, the combination of: the Phone Service; the Broadband Service; or any other telecommunications service that we may provide to you pursuant to your Agreement;
Phone Service means the routing of calls and telephone services through an IP-based telecommunications network accessed by you using approved electronic equipment and/or device(s); “Broadband Service” means the service which may be provided through specific electronic equipment, and device(s), and that enables connection to the Internet over the Network;
Phone Service means the Sebastian phone service that provides users with the ability to send and receive local and/or long distance calls and to access additional related features and functions through Sebastian phone lines and systems.

Examples of Phone Service in a sentence

  • The Service Agreement, including Supplemental Terms and Conditions for VoIP Phone Service, as applicable, represents the entire agreement of the Parties with respect to the subject matter hereof and supersedes all other agreements, written or oral, between the Parties relating to the Services.

  • The following Supplemental Terms and Conditions shall be applicable in the event the Services requested by Customer include VoIP Phone Service (“Voice Services”).

  • Except as otherwise provided in the General Terms and Conditions or as authorized by WOW!, WOW! Phone Service is intended for ordinary commercial use only and may only be used at service location(s) where such service is installed by WOW!.

  • Fios Home Phone Service (including 911 dialing) will not function during a power outage without a back- up power source.

  • Nomadic Functionality of certain Phone Service and WOW! Equipment.

Phone Service means the Business Phone services provided by us in accordance with this Agreement;

Related to Phone Service

  • Telephone Service means calls (including voice, voicemail and conference and data calls), supplementary services (including call forwarding and call transfer) and messaging and multi-media services (including short message services, enhanced media services and multi-media services);

  • Telephone Toll Service is As Defined in the Act.

  • Air-to-ground radiotelephone service means a radio service, as that term is defined in 47 CFR 22.99, in which common carriers are authorized to offer and provide radio telecommunications service for hire to subscribers in aircraft.

  • Online Service means our on-line system for managing the electronic transmission of information between us and Providers;

  • 911 Service means a universal telephone number which gives the public direct access to the Public Safety Answering Point (“PSAP”). Basic 911 service collects 911 calls from one or more local exchange switches that serve a geographic area. The calls are then sent to the correct authority designated to receive such calls.

  • Data Service means a telecommunications service other than a voice service.

  • Fire Service means any deployment of firefighting personnel and/or equipment to extinguish a fire or perform any preventative measure in an effort to protect equipment, life, or property in an area threatened by fire. It also includes the deployment of firefighting personnel and/or equipment to provide fire suppression, rescue, extrication, and any other services related to fire and rescue as may occasionally occur.

  • broadcasting service means a radiocommunication service in which the transmissions are intended for direct reception by the general public. This service may include sound transmissions, television transmissions or other types of transmission.

  • Customer Service means Company’s customer service telephone service department or representatives.

  • CMU Service means the Central Moneymarkets Unit Service, operated by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority;

  • air service means a flight or a series of flights carrying passengers, cargo and/or mail for remuneration and/or hire;

  • School service means a website, mobile application or online service that (i) is designed and marketed solely for use in elementary or secondary schools; (ii) is used (a) at the direction of teachers or other employees at elementary or secondary schools or (b) by any school-affiliated entity; and (iii) collects and maintains, uses or shares student personal information. "School service" does not include a website, mobile application or online service that is (a) used for the purposes of college and career readiness assessment or (b) designed and marketed for use by individuals or entities generally, even if it is also marketed for use in elementary or secondary schools.

  • Video service means video programming, cable services, IPTV, or OVS provided through facilities located at least in part in the public rights-of-way without regard to delivery technology, including internet protocol technology. This definition does not include any video programming provided by a commercial mobile service provider defined in 47 USC 332(d) or provided solely as part of, and via, a service that enables users to access content, information, electronic mail, or other services offered over the public internet.

  • Network Service means a Service provided by means of the Network.

  • Toll Free Service means service provided with any dialing sequence that invokes Toll Free, i.e., 800-like, service processing. Toll Free Service currently includes calls to the Toll Free Service 800/888/877/866 NPA SAC codes. “Toll VoIP-PSTN Traffic” is VoIP-PSTN Traffic that physically originates and terminates in different Local Calling Areas as determined by the Commission.

  • Network Transmission Service means transmission service provided pursuant to the rates, terms and conditions set forth in Tariff, Part III, or transmission service comparable to such service that is provided to a Load Serving Entity that is also a Transmission Owner.

  • Cloud Service means any distinct, subscription-based, hosted, supported and operated on-demand solution provided by SAP under an Order Form.

  • Paging service means a telecommunications service that provides transmission of coded radio signals for the purpose of activating specific pagers, which may include messages or sounds.

  • Enhanced 911 Service (“E911”) means a telephone communication service which will automatically route a call dialed “9-1-1” to a designated public safety answering point (PSAP) attendant and will provide to the attendant the calling party’s telephone number and, when possible, the address from which the call is being placed and the Emergency Response agencies responsible for the location from which the call was dialed.

  • Mobile telecommunications service means the same as that term is defined in Section 124(7) of Public Law 106-252 (Mobile Telecommunications Sourcing Act).

  • Generation Service means the sale of electricity, including ancillary services such as the provision of reserves, to a Customer by a Competitive Supplier.
