Personal Reasons means that these reasons are personal to a staff person and the details do not need to be shared with your employer.”
Personal Reasons. This applies where a transfer is sought by an employee on personal grounds which are not covered by any other operational factor and which are not necessarily in the operational interests of the Service. These reasons must be unique and compelling. This factor does not include reasons related to cost of travel nor purchase of a residence in another location. Utilisation of this operational factor shall only be on a case by case basis and shall be of no precedent value.

  • Personal relationship means an ongoing romantic or intimate personal relationship that can include, but is not limited to, dating, living together or being a partner or significant other. This restriction does not extend to friends, acquaintances or former colleagues who are not otherwise encompassed in the scope of “personal relationships.”

  • Personal Data Breach means a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure of, or access to, Personal Data transmitted, stored or otherwise processed;

  • Personal Grievance means a claim of unjustifiable dismissal, unjustifiable disadvantage, discrimination, sexual or racial harassment, or duress in relation to membership or non-membership of a union or employees’ organisation.

  • Supervisory employee means an employee, regardless of job description, having authority in the interest of the employer to hire, transfer, suspend, lay off, recall, promote, discharge, assign, reward, or discipline other employees, or the responsibility to assign work to and direct them, or to adjust their grievances, or effectively recommend that action, if, in connection with the foregoing functions, the exercise of that authority is not of a merely routine or clerical nature, but requires the use of independent judgment.

  • Involuntary Termination means a termination of your employment with the Company pursuant to either (i) a termination initiated by the Company without Cause, or (ii) your resignation for Good Reason, and provided in either case such termination constitutes a Separation from Service. An Involuntary Termination does not include any other termination of your employment, including a termination due to your death or disability.

  • Personal Pay means additional pay granted to an employee:

  • Good Reason Termination means a termination of employment or service initiated by the Participant upon or after a Change of Control upon one or more of the following events:

  • Service-disabled veteran means a veteran, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(2), with a disability that is service-connected, as defined in 38 U.S.C. 101(16).
