Personal loss definition

Personal loss or "injury" shall mean that the grievant has been directly affected in a substantive way as the result of the alleged violation of the agreement. A violation or misapplication of a contractual provision of this agreement may be processed through binding arbitration. A non-arbitral grievance may be filed where a licensed professional or Council alleges a personal loss or injury resulting from a misinterpretation of an existing school district policy or administrative regulation. Such grievance may be referred to the Board for final determination. A grievance shall not include, and this grievance procedure shall not apply to, any of the following:
