Personal Information Obligations definition

Personal Information Obligations means the Company’s privacy policies or notices, other policies, terms of use, terms and conditions, Contracts, documents, promises or representations to any Persons, and any applicable Laws, guidance, industry standards, or certifications, regarding Processing of Personal Information, privacy, or data security.
Personal Information Obligations means, with respect to a Person, any of such Person’s policies or notices, terms of use, terms and conditions, Contracts, documents or representations to any other Persons (including any representations to employees, customers, clinical trial participants, or IRBs), and any applicable Laws, guidance, industry standards, or certifications regarding Processing of Personal Information, privacy, or data security.
Personal Information Obligations means each of the Acquired Company’s privacy policies or notices, terms of use, terms and conditions, contracts, any binding guidance and the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard, in each case, regarding processing of Personal Information, privacy, or data security. “Privacy Laws” means all applicable laws that relate to data privacy, data protection, data security, data transfer, confidentiality, breach notification, marketing, or the processing of Personal Information, in each case, as applicable from time to time, including, to the extent applicable, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996; the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act; the EU’s General Data Protection Regulation, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act; the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003; Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act of 1914; the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018; and all equivalent or comparable privacy, security and data breach notification laws, and the requirements set forth in any applicable regulations thereunder or any binding consent orders.

  • Neither the execution nor delivery of this Agreement, the contemplated transactions, nor the performance of the Acquired Company’s obligations hereunder will violate in any material respect any applicable Privacy Laws or any of the Personal Information Obligations, or require any material notice to or consent of any person or entity for the continued processing of Personal Information.

Related to Personal Information Obligations

  • Personal Information Breach means an instance where an unauthorized person or entity accesses Personal Information in any manner, including but not limited to the following occurrences: (1) any Personal Information that is not encrypted or protected is misplaced, lost, stolen or in any way compromised; (2) one or more third parties have had access to or taken control or possession of any Personal Information that is not encrypted or protected without prior written authorization from the State; (3) the unauthorized acquisition of encrypted or protected Personal Information together with the confidential process or key that is capable of compromising the integrity of the Personal Information; or (4) if there is a substantial risk of identity theft or fraud to the client, the Contractor, the Department or State.

  • Student Personal Information means information collected through a school service that personally identifies an individual student or other information collected and maintained about an individual student that is linked to information that identifies an individual student, as identified by Washington Compact Provision 28A.604.010. For purposes of this DPA, Student Personal Information is referred to as Student Data.

  • Personal Information means information identifiable to any person, including, but not limited to, information that relates to a person’s name, health, finances, education, business, use or receipt of governmental services or other activities, addresses, telephone numbers, social security numbers, driver license numbers, other identifying numbers, and any financial identifiers.

  • Nonpublic Personal Information means nonpublic personal financial information and nonpublic personal health information.

  • Special Personal Information means Personal Information as referred to in Section 26 of POPIA

  • Transaction Personal Information has the meaning ascribed thereto in Section 9.1;

  • Notice-triggering Personal Information means the personal information identified in Civil Code section 1798.29 whose unauthorized access may trigger notification requirements under Civil Code section 1798.29. For purposes of this provision, identity shall include, but not be limited to, name, address, email address, identifying number, symbol, or other identifying particular assigned to the individual, such as a finger or voice print, a photograph or a biometric identifier. Notice-triggering Personal Information includes PI in electronic, paper or any other medium.

  • Personal Identifying Information or “PII” means information that alone, or in conjunction with other information, identifies an individual, as defined at Tex. Bus. & Com. Code § 521.002(1).

  • Business Information means all information in whatever form held, including (without limitation) all: (i) formulas, designs, specifications, drawings, know-how, manuals and instructions; (ii) customer lists, sales, marketing and promotional information; (iii) business plans and forecasts; (iv) technical or other expertise; and (v) all accounting and Tax records, correspondence, orders and inquiries;

  • Employee Liability Information means the information which a transferor is obliged to notify to a transferee pursuant to Regulation 11(2) of TUPE regarding any person employed by him who is assigned to the organised grouping of resources or employees which is the subject of a relevant transfer and also such employees as fall within Regulation 11(4) of TUPE;

  • Seller Confidential Information has the meaning set forth in Section 6.4.3.

  • Location information means information concerning the location of an electronic device that, in whole or in part, is generated or derived from or obtained by the operation of an electronic device on a cellular telephone network or a location information service rather than obtained from a service provider.
