Personal Data Compromise definition

Personal Data Compromise means the loss, theft, accidental release or accidental publication of “personally identifying information” or “personally sensitive information” as respects one or more “affected individuals”. If the loss, theft, accidental release or accidental publication involves “personally identifying information”, such loss, theft, accidental release or accidental publication must result in or have the reasonable possibility of resulting in the fraudulent use of such information. This definition is subject to the following provisions:

Examples of Personal Data Compromise in a sentence

  • The Pool will reimburse the Named Member, if approved by the Pool in advance of payment thereof, for the services of a public relations consulting firm for the purpose of averting or mitigating damage to the Named Member’s reputation or brand caused by a Personal Data Compromise, e-commerce incident, network security breach, cyber extortion threat or Wrongful Act occurring within the Coverage Period and covered under this Additional Coverage I.

  • Personal Data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

  • Customer Personal Data means the personal data contained within the Customer Data.

  • Client Personal Data means any personal data provided to us by you, or on your behalf, for the purpose of providing our services to you, pursuant to our engagement letter with you;

  • Shared Personal Data means the personal data to be shared between the parties under clause 1.2 of this agreement to enable the parties to fulfil their obligations under the terms of this Agreement.
