Perpetual License definition

Perpetual License means a license which is everlasting and valid if the software is being used in accordance with the license-agreement requirements.
Perpetual License means a type of license for a Software Product which allows the User to use the Software Product in perpetuity so long as the User does not otherwise violate the terms of the EULA. For reference, a Perpetual License on a Quote is denoted by its absence of either the terms “Subscription,” “SaaS,” or “Metered” and/or the absence of the letters ”SU” or “MTR” at the end of the Software Product number or the letters “HCL” at the beginning of the Software Product number.
Perpetual License or “Extended Term License” means a license of the Software that extends indefinitely. Perpetual Licenses do not include Maintenance Services.

Examples of Perpetual License in a sentence

  • In the event Customer has or is licensing a Perpetual License, the Anthology Software being accessed as part of the Anthology SaaS refers to the Perpetual License.

  • Upon request of Licensee, Licensee may receive from Licensor and/or create one ( l) copy of the entire set of Licensed Materials to be maintained as a backup or archival copy during the term of this Agreement, or as required to exercise Licensee's rights under the 'Perpetual License' section of this Amendment.

  • The term of the Anthology SaaS and services (other than Professional Services or Perpetual License) shall be as set forth in Exhibit A-1.


More Definitions of Perpetual License

Perpetual License means a license to use CA Software for an indefinite period subject to compliance with the Agreement.
Perpetual License means a license for which you pay a one-time Fee to obtain the right to use and deploy the Software, whether on your premises or at your preferred hosting provider.

Perpetual Licenses do not include Maintenance Services or professional services which must be purchased separately.
