Permitted Cash Equivalent Investments definition

Permitted Cash Equivalent Investments means (i) marketable direct obligations issued or unconditionally guaranteed by the United States or any agency or any State thereof having maturities of not more than two (2) years from the date of acquisition and (ii) commercial paper maturing no more than one (1) year after its creation and having the highest rating from either Standard & Poor’s Ratings Group or Xxxxx’x Investors Service, Inc.
Permitted Cash Equivalent Investments means (i) marketable direct obligations issued or unconditionally guaranteed by the United States or any agency or any State thereof having maturities of not more than one (1) year from the date of acquisition, (ii) commercial paper maturing no more than one (1) year after its creation and having the highest rating from either Standard & Poor’s Ratings Group or Xxxxx’x Investors Service, Inc., (iii) time deposits with, or insured certificates of deposit or banker’s acceptances of, any commercial bank that (x) is organized under the laws of the United States or is the principal banking subsidiary of a bank holding company organized under the laws of the United States and is a member of the Federal Reserve System and (y) has combined capital and surplus of at least $1,000,000,000, in each case with maturities of not more than one (1) year from the date of acquisition, and (iv) any money market funds at least ninety-five percent (95%) of the assets of which constitute investments of the type described in clauses (i), (ii) or (iii) above.
