Permanent night shift definition

Permanent night shift means a shift which is applicable to an employee who:
Permanent night shift means a night shift which does not rotate with another shift or shifts or day work and which continues for a period of not less than four consecutive weeks.

Permanent night shift means a shift pattern where the Employee only works night shift, works night shift for more than 4 consecutive weeks or works on a night shift which does not rotate or alternate with another shift or with day work so as to give the Employee at least 1/3rd of his/her working time off night shift in each shift cycle.
