Period of Ineligibility definition

Period of Ineligibility means where an Athlete or ASP is not permitted for a period of time from participating in the following: an Event, Competition, training and any other activity of an NGB, International Federation or International Disabled Sport Federation, IOC or IPC;
Period of Ineligibility means a period of twelve (12) full calendar months during which a person who was a Participant in ATOP prior to the commencement of such period is not eligible to participate in ATOP, in accordance with Section 3.2, due to such Participant’s complete withdrawal under Section 8.3 (a).
Period of Ineligibility means a period of twelve (12) full calendar months during which a person who was a Participant in the ISOP (excluding an Initial Ownership Program Participant) prior to the commencement of such period is not eligible to participate in ISOP, in accordance with Section 3.4 due to such Participant’s complete withdrawal under Section 11.3(a).

Examples of Period of Ineligibility in a sentence

  • For purposes of determining the vested percentage of a Participant’s MAC Account balance, Years of Participation prior to any Period of Ineligibility will not be counted.

  • If a Participant has completed ten (10) consecutive years of vesting under ISOP and, if applicable, the Predecessor Plans, and has not had a complete withdrawal under such plans and has not incurred a Period of Ineligibility under such plans, then his or her Matching Account balance under ISOP shall vest on each January 1 based on the Participant’s consecutive Years of Participation on that date in accordance with the following schedule.

  • For purposes of determining the vested percentage of a Participant’s AMTOP Account balance, Years of Participation prior to any Period of Ineligibility will not be counted.

  • If a Participant has completed ten (10) consecutive years of vesting under AMTOP and has not had a complete withdrawal under ATOP and has not incurred a Period of Ineligibility under ATOP, then his or her AMTOP Account balance under AMTOP shall vest on each January 1 based on the Participant’s consecutive Years of Participation on that date in accordance with the following schedule.

  • For purposes of determining the vested percentage of a Participant’s Matching Account balance, Years of Participation prior to any Period of Ineligibility will not be counted.

  • If a Participant has completed ten (10) consecutive years of vesting under MAC and has not had a complete withdrawal under ACE and has not incurred a Period of Ineligibility under ACE, then his or her MAC Account balance under MAC shall vest on each January 1 based on the Participant’s consecutive Years of Participation on that date in accordance with the following schedule.

  • If a Participant has completed ten (10) consecutive years of vesting under AMTOP and five (5) additional years of vesting as outlined in Section 5.2 under AMTOP and has not had a complete withdrawal under ATOP, and has not incurred a Period of Ineligibility under ATOP, then his or her AMTOP Account balance under AMTOP shall vest one hundred percent (100%) each January 1.

  • For purposes of determining the vested percentage of a Participant's MAC Account balance, Years of Participation prior to any Period of Ineligibility will not be counted.

  • For purposes of determining the vested percentage of a Participant's AMTOP Account balance, Years of Participation prior to any Period of Ineligibility will not be counted.

  • If a Participant has completed ten (10) consecutive years of vesting under AMTOP and has not had a complete withdrawal under ATOP and has not incurred a Period of Ineligibility under ATOP, then his or her AMTOP Account balance under AMTOP shall vest on each January 1 based on the Participant's consecutive Years of Participation on that date in accordance with the following schedule.


More Definitions of Period of Ineligibility

Period of Ineligibility means a period of twelve (12) consecutive calendar months during which a person who was a Participant in AMTOP prior to the commencement of such period is not eligible to participate in AMTOP due to such Participant’s complete withdrawal from ATOP under Section 8.3(a) of ATOP.
Period of Ineligibility means a period of twelve (12) consecutive calendar months during which a person who was a Participant in MAC prior to the commencement of such period is not eligible to participate in MAC due to such Participant’s complete withdrawal from ACE under Section 8.3(a) of ACE.

Related to Period of Ineligibility

  • Eligibility Service of an employee means the period or periods of service credited to him under the provisions of Article II for purposes of determining his eligibility to participate in the Plan as may be required under Article III or Article VI.

  • Period of Service means the aggregate of all periods of service commencing with an Employee's first day of employment or reemployment with the Employer or an Affiliated Employer and ending on the first day of a Period of Severance, or for benefit accrual purposes, ending on the severance from service date. The first day of employment or reemployment is the first day the Employee performs an Hour of Service. An Employee who incurs a Period of Severance of twelve (12) months or less will also receive service-spanning credit by treating any such period as a Period of Service for purposes of eligibility and vesting (but not benefit accrual). For purposes of benefit accrual, a Participant's whole year Periods of Service is equal to the sum of all full and partial periods of service, whether or not such service is continuous or contiguous, expressed in the number of whole years represented by such sum. For this purpose, fractional periods of a year will be expressed in terms of days.

  • Eligibility Waiting Period means the continuous length of time you must be in Active Employment in an eligible class to reach your Eligibility Date.

  • Eligibility means the decision as to whether an individual qualifies, under financial and nonfinancial requirements, to receive program benefits.

  • Period of Severance means a continuous period of time during which an Employee is not employed by the Employer. Such period begins on the date the Employee retires, quits or is discharged, or if earlier, the twelve (12) month anniversary of the date on which the Employee was otherwise first absent from service.

  • Year of Eligibility Service means where an Employer designates a one or two 12-consecutive-month eligibility waiting period, an Employee must complete at least 1,000 Hours of Employment during each 12-consecutive-month period (measured from his date of Employment and then as of the first day of each Plan Year commencing after such date of Employment); provided, however, if an Employee is credited with 1,000 Hours of Employment in both the initial eligibility computation period and the first Plan Year which commences prior to the first anniversary of the Employee's employment commencement date, the Employee will be credited, for eligibility purposes, with two Years of Eligibility Service. Where an Employer designates an eligibility waiting period of less than 12 months, an Employee must, for purposes of eligibility, complete a required number of hours (measured from his date of Employment and each anniversary thereafter) which is arrived at by multiplying the number of months in the eligibility waiting period requirement by 83 1/3; provided, however, if an Employee completes at least 1,000 Hours of Employment within the 12 month period commencing on his Employment commencement date or during any Plan Year commencing after such Employment commencement date, such Employee will be treated as satisfying the eligibility service requirements.

  • Years of Service means the total number of full years in which a Participant has been employed by one or more Employers. For purposes of this definition, a year of employment shall be a 365 day period (or 366 day period in the case of a leap year) that, for the first year of employment, commences on the Employee's date of hiring and that, for any subsequent year, commences on an anniversary of that hiring date. Any partial year of employment shall not be counted.

  • Minimum Period of Service means a period of 12 consecutive months beginning on the Service Start Date, unless set out otherwise in any applicable Order.

  • Year of Service means the computation period of twelve (12) consecutive months, herein set forth, during which an Employee has at least 1000 Hours of Service.

  • Period of Insurance means the period commencing from the retroactive date and terminating on the expiry date as shown in the Policy Schedule.

  • Period of Agreement means 5 years from the date of Final acceptance of the Project.

  • Credited Service means the member's total period of service
