Percentage of Sum Insured definition

Percentage of Sum Insured means the Percentage of Sum Insured stated in Compensation Table 1 and/or Compensation Table 2 of Part I herein.
Percentage of Sum Insured means the Percentage of Sum Insured stated in Compensation Tables 1 and 2 in Part I herein.
Percentage of Sum Insured means the percentage of Sum Insured stated in the Compensation Table and Simple Fracture or other fractures Table of Benefits in Part I herein.

Examples of Percentage of Sum Insured in a sentence

  • Should more than one Event occur from the same Accident, We shall only be liable for the Event with the greater Percentage of Sum Insured.

  • Should more than one of the above Burn Events occur from the same Accident, We shall only be liable for the Burn Event with the greater Percentage of Sum Insured.

  • When a limb which had been partially disabled prior to sustaining an Injury covered under this Policy and which becomes totally disabled as a result of such Injury, the Percentage of Sum Insured payable shall be determined by Us having regard to the extent of disablement caused by the Injury.

  • If You are left-handed and has specifically mentioned this on the application, the Percentage of Sum Insured set out above from Event 13 to 16 inclusive for the various disabilities of right hand and left hand will be transposed.

  • Accident while in a Common CarrierIf during the period of insurance the Insured Person sustains an Injury while travelling as a fare paying passenger in any Common Carrier in the course of a Trip which shall within twelve (12) months from the date of Accident result in death or disablement as listed under the following Compensation Table 1, We shall pay the Insured Person or the Insured Person's estate a benefit in accordance with the Percentage of Sum Insured stated in such table.1b.

  • If during the period of insurance You sustain Injury as defined herein shall within twelve(12) months result in death or loss or disablement as defined under one of the Events of the Compensation Table hereunder, We will pay You a sum equivalent to the Percentage of Sum Insured for the Events stated in the Compensation Table hereunder.

Related to Percentage of Sum Insured

  • Sum Insured means the sum as specified in the Schedule to this Policy against the name of Insured / each Insured Person, which sum represents the Company's maximum liability for any or all claims under this Policy during the Policy period for the respective benefit(s) against which the sum is mentioned in the Schedule to this Policy.

  • Tenant’s Percentage means the quotient of the rentable area of the Premises divided by the rentable area of the Building, which is currently thirty-seven and thirty-six hundredths percent (37.36%). In the event of any changes in either or both of the rentable area of the Premises or the rentable area of the Building, the Tenant's Percentage shall be appropriately modified.

  • Tenant’s Percentage Share means the percentage specified in the Basic Lease Information.

  • Replacement Cost means the cost to repair or rebuild the improvements owned by Lessor at the time of the occurrence to their condition existing immediately prior thereto, including demolition, debris removal and upgrading required by the operation of applicable building codes, ordinances or laws, and without deduction for depreciation.

  • Tenant’s Pro Rata Share are both subject to adjustment as provided in this Lease.   • Travel Insurance means coverage for personal risks incidental to planned travel, including one or more of the following:

  • FHA Insurance The contractual obligation of FHA respecting the insurance of an FHA Loan pursuant to the National Housing Act, as amended.

  • Equipment Cost means, for any Item of Equipment, the gross amount paid by the Company to the manufacturer thereof, including all applicable sales taxes, and delivery charges as invoiced by such manufacturer to the Company.

  • full insurable value means one hundred percent (100%) of the actual replacement cost of the Property (excluding foundation and excavation costs and costs of underground flues, pipes, drains and other uninsurable items).

  • group insurance means insurance, other than creditor’s group insurance and family insurance, whereby the lives of a number of persons are insured severally under a single contract between an insurer and an employer or other person; (“assurance collective”)

  • Excess Insurance means insurance purchased from an insurance company authorized or admitted in the State of New Jersey or deemed eligible by the Commissioner as a surplus lines insurer or from any other entity authorized to provide said coverage in this state pursuant to law, covering losses in excess of an amount set forth in insurance contracts on a specific occurrence, or per accident or annual aggregate basis.

  • Insured Loss means damage or destruction to the Premises, other than Lessee-Owned Alterations and Utility Installations and Trade Fixtures, which was caused by an event required to be covered by the insurance described in Paragraph 8.3(a) irrespective of any deductible amounts or coverage limits involved.

  • General Liability Insurance Subcontractor shall carry minimum primary General Liability Insurance for the following amounts:

  • Fidelity Insurance means insurance coverage with respect to employee errors, omissions, dishonesty, forgery, theft, disappearance and destruction, robbery and safe burglary, property (other than money and securities) and computer fraud in an aggregate amount acceptable to Seller’s regulators.

  • Loss in excess of policy limits means 90.0% of any amount paid or payable by the Company in excess of its policy limits, but otherwise within the terms of its policy, such loss in excess of the Company’s policy limits having been incurred because of, but not limited to, failure by the Company to settle within the policy limits or by reason of the Company’s alleged or actual negligence, fraud or bad faith in rejecting an offer of settlement or in the preparation of the defense or in the trial of an action against its insured or reinsured or in the preparation or prosecution of an appeal consequent upon such an action.

  • Insurance Cost Increase shall not, however, include any premium increases resulting from the nature of the occupancy of any other lessee of the Building. If the parties insert a dollar amount in Paragraph 1.9, such amount shall be considered the "BASE PREMIUM." If a dollar amount has not been inserted in Paragraph 1.9 and if the Building has been previously occupied during the twelve (12) month period immediately preceding the Commencement Date, the "Base Premium" shall be the annual premium applicable to such twelve (12) month period. If the Building was not fully occupied during such twelve (12) month period, the "Base Premium" shall be the lowest annual premium reasonably obtainable for the Required Insurance as of the Commencement Date, assuming the most nominal use possible of the Building. In no event, however, shall Lessee be responsible for any portion of the premium cost attributable to liability insurance coverage in excess of $1,000,000 procured under Paragraph 8.2(b).

  • Additional Insured is defined in Section D of Annex D to the Lease.

  • A.M. Best A.M. Best Company, Inc. or its successors in interest. If neither A.M. Best nor any successor remains in existence, “A.M. Best” shall be deemed to refer to such other nationally recognized statistical rating agency or other comparable Person reasonably designated by the Depositor, notice of which designation shall be given to the Trustee, the Certificate Administrator, the Master Servicer and the Special Servicer and specific ratings of A.M. Best herein referenced shall be deemed to refer to the equivalent ratings (as reasonably determined by the Depositor) of the party so designated.

  • Insurance Expenses means any Insurance Proceeds (i) applied to the repair of the related Leased Vehicle, (ii) released to the related Lessee in accordance with applicable law or the Customary Servicing Practices or (iii) representing other related expenses incurred by the Servicer that are not otherwise included in Liquidation Expenses or Disposition Expenses and recoverable by the Servicer under any applicable Servicer Basic Documents.

  • Covered Loss or “Covered Losses” means an accidental death, dismemberment, or other Injury covered under the Policy.

  • Net direct written premiums means direct gross premiums written in this state on insurance policies subject to this chapter, less return premiums and dividends paid or credited to policyholders on such direct business. “Net direct written premiums” does not include premiums on a contract between insurers or reinsurers.

  • Type of insurance means coverage afforded under the particular policy that is being placed.

  • Certificate of Insurance means a document showing that an insurance policy has been written and includes a statement of the coverage of the policy.

  • Property Insurance is defined in Section 6.10(a).

  • Insurance Rent the sums described in paragraph 1.1 of Schedule 4; “Insured Risks” the risks of fire (including subterranean fire), lightning, explosion, storm, flood, subsidence, landslip, heave, earthquake, burst or overflowing water pipes, tanks or apparatus, impact by aircraft or other aerial devices and any articles dropped from them, impact by vehicles, terrorism, riot, civil commotion and malicious damage to the extent, in each case, that cover is generally available on normal commercial terms in the UK insurance market at the time the insurance is taken out, and any other risks against which the Landlord reasonably insures from time to time, subject in all cases to any excesses, limitations and exclusions imposed by the insurers;10
