Payment Brand Rules definition

Payment Brand Rules are the bylaws, rules, and regulations, as they exist from time to time, of the Payment Brands.
Payment Brand Rules means all rules, regulations, by-laws, _ under registration number standards and procedures adopted and/or amended from time to , with its registered office located at . T1 Payments provides, among other things, Card payment processing services which allows T1 Payments to clear payments for purchases of Merchant’s products and services via Cards. Merchant requests to have such payment processing services provided to it and T1 Payments agrees to provide such services subject to the terms and conditions contained in this Agreement. In consideration of the mutual covenants herein contained and intending to be legally bound by the provisions of this Agreement, the parties agree as follows:
Payment Brand Rules are the bylaws, rules, and regulations, as they exist from time to time, of the Payment Brands, including, without limitation, any operating principles (including without limitation the TP3 Risk Management Standards and Operating Procedures identified in Schedule C of this Agreement), as may be revised from time to time by the Payment Brands in their sole discretion.

  • Notwithstanding the foregoing, in the event the terms of this Agreement must be amended pursuant to a change required by the Payment Brand Rules or any third party with jurisdiction over the matters described herein, such amendment will be effective immediately.

  • Processor reserves the right to refuse to process any Transaction Data presented by Merchant if Processor reasonably believes that the Transaction may be uncollectible from the Customer or was prepared in violation of any provision of this Agreement, applicable law, or the Payment Brand Rules.

  • Merchant may request but must not require a Cardholder to provide additional identification information as a condition of Card acceptance, unless such information is required to complete the transaction, such as for shipping purposes, or T1 Payments or Payment Brand Rules specifically permit or require such information to be collected.

  • Merchant acknowledges that failure to fulfill a Retrieval Request timely and in accordance with Payment Brand Rules may result in an irreversible Chargeback.

Related to Payment Brand Rules

  • Network Rules means the rules, regulations, releases, interpretations and other requirements (whether contractual or otherwise) imposed or adopted by any Card Networks and related authorities, including without limitation, those of the PCI Security Standards Council, LLC and the National Automated Clearing House Association (including, with respect to EBT, the Quest Operating Rules and with respect to PIN debit cards, the rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the applicable debit network).

  • payment system means a funds transfer system with formal and standardised arrangements and common rules for the processing, clearing and/or settlement of payment transactions;

  • Payment Network means a debit or credit network (such as the ACH Network or ACCEL / Exchange payment network) through which funds may be transferred.

  • Settlement System Code means the specifications, standards, methods, calculations and conventions established under the AUC Settlement System Code Rule 021, as amended or replaced from time to time;

  • Quality Management System means a set of interrelated or interacting elements that organisations use to direct and control how quality policies are implemented and quality objectives are achieved;

  • Safety Management System has the meaning given to it in the ISM Code.

  • Subscriber Management System means a system or device which stores the subscriber records and details with respect to name, address and other information regarding the hardware being utilized by the subscriber, channels or bouquets of channels subscribed by the subscriber, price of such channels or bouquets of channels as defined in the system, the activation or deactivation dates and time for any channel or bouquets of channels, a log of all actions performed on a subscriber’s record, invoices raised on each subscriber and the amounts paid or discount allowed to the subscriber for each billing period, and which complies with the requirements as set out under Annexure D of this Agreement;

  • Management System means an integrated set of interrelated and documented elements to prevent, control and improve the performance of a facility or group of facilities related to industrial safety, operational safety and environmental protection in the sector which the Contractor shall implement throughout the performance of the Petroleum Activities in compliance with the requirements set forth in Articles 13, 14 and 16 of the Law of the National Agency for Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection of the Hydrocarbons Sector and the other Applicable Laws.

  • Database Management System (DBMS) A system of manual procedures and computer programs used to create, store and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and/or Automatic Location Identification for 911 systems. Day: A calendar day unless otherwise specified. Dedicated Transport: UNE transmission path between one of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches and another of CenturyLink’s Wire Centers or switches within the same LATA and State that are dedicated to a particular customer or carrier. Default: A Party’s violation of any material term or condition of the Agreement, or refusal or failure in any material respect to properly perform its obligations under this Agreement, including the failure to make any undisputed payment when due. A Party shall also be deemed in Default upon such Party’s insolvency or the initiation of bankruptcy or receivership proceedings by or against the Party or the failure to obtain or maintain any certification(s) or authorization(s) from the Commission which are necessary or appropriate for a Party to exchange traffic or order any service, facility or arrangement under this Agreement, or notice from the Party that it has ceased doing business in this State or receipt of publicly available information that signifies the Party is no longer doing business in this State.

  • Client Money Rules means the rules specified in the applicable regulation and other related matters issued pursuant to this paragraph.

  • Cash Payment System means a payment system that generates any transfer of funds through a transaction originated by cash, check, or similar paper instrument. This includes electronic payments to a financial institution or clearing house that subsequently issues cash, check, or similar paper instrument to the designated payee.

  • Technical Support Services means the technical support and maintenance Services provided by us according to our then-current technical support policy and procedure listed at xxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx (“Technical Support Policy”) when the Services are purchased.

  • Retirement system means a retirement plan or system that is established by or pursuant to title 38.

  • ACH Rules means the NACHA Operating Rules and NACHA Operating Guidelines, as in effect from time to time.

  • Online Services means Microsoft-hosted services to which Customer subscribes under this Agreement. It does not include software and services provided under separate license terms.

  • Service and support administrator means a person, regardless of title, employed by or under contract with a county board to perform the functions of service and support administration and who holds the appropriate certification in accordance with rule 5123:2-5-02 of the Administrative Code.

  • Diagnostic clinical procedures manual means a collection of written procedures that describes each method (and other instructions and precautions) by which the licensee performs diagnostic clinical procedures; where each diagnostic clinical procedure has been approved by the authorized user and includes the radiopharmaceutical, dosage, and route of administration.

  • BT Network means the communications network owned or leased by BT and used to provide the Service.

  • Database Management System (“DBMS”) is a computer process used to store, sort, manipulate and update the data required to provide Selective Routing and ALI.

  • Project Management Plan means the management plan that (i) sets out a high level workplan to describe the manner in which the Design-Builder will manage the Project, including to address related matters such as traffic management and communications, and (ii) is prepared by or for the Design-Builder and submitted to the Owner;

  • Online Services Terms means the additional terms that apply to Customer’s use of Online Services published on the Licensing Site and updated from time to time.

  • Emergency medical services provider means a person who has received formal training in prehospital and emergency care, and is licensed to attend any person who is ill or injured or who has a disability. Police officers, firefighters, funeral home employees and other persons serving in a dual capacity one of which meets the definition of “emergency medical services provider” are “emergency medical services providers” within the meaning of this chapter.

  • FCA Rules means the Rules included within the FCA Handbook issued by the FCA.

  • Customer Portal means a web portal maintained by Liferay or a Liferay Affiliate that provides for various resources accessible to Liferay Subscription customers as further described in Section 2.1 below.

  • Electronic Payment System means a payment system that generates any transfer of funds, other than a transaction originated by cash, check, or similar paper instrument, which is initiated through an electronic terminal, telephone, mobile phone, computer, or magnetic tape, for the purpose of ordering, instructing or authorizing a financial institution to debit or credit an account. The term includes debit cards, wire transfers, transfers made at automatic teller machines, and point-of-sale terminals.
