Pay Channel definition

Pay Channel means a channel which is declared as such by ZEEL and for which a share of maximum retail price is to be paid to ZEEL by the IPTV Operator and for which due authorization needs to be obtained from ZEEL for distribution of such channel to subscribers.
Pay Channel means a channel which is declared as such by the Broadcaster and for which a share of maximum retail price is to be paid to the Broadcaster by the distributor of television channels and for which due authorization needs to be obtained from the Broadcaster for distribution of such channel to subscribers;

  • For SD CMPL Channel it would mean any SD Pay Channel and for HD CMPL Channel it would mean any HD Pay Channel.

  • For the purposes of this Agreement “Converted Channel(s)” shall mean (i) conversion of a Free-to-Air Channel into a Pay Channel; or (ii) conversion of a Pay Channel(s) to a Free-to-Air Channel.


More Definitions of Pay Channel

Pay Channel means a channel for which fees is to be paid to the broadcaster for its retransmission through electromagnetic waves through cable or through space intended to be received by the general public either directly or indirectly and which would require the use of an addressable system attached with the receiver set of a subscriber;
