Pay and Benefits. The expectation for employees in the district is that job duties continue to be completed and that pay will continue accordingly. Employee benefits will continue to be administered through the SEBB program and SEBB program requirements and minimum thresholds will remain in effect in determining qualification for such benefits.
Pay and Benefits. As a minimum we expect our suppliers to comply with all national regulations on pay and benefits. Working hours: We expect our suppliers to comply with national regulations on working hours. Employees should have annual leave provision. Fair Treatment and Equal Opportunity: We expect our suppliers to provide equality of opportunity regardless of race, colour, gender, religion, nationality, sexual orientation, age or disability. Suppliers are expected to support equal pay for work of equal value. Respectful Workplace: Our suppliers must treat all workers with respect and dignity. No workers shall be subject to discrimination and intimidation including all forms or threats of physical, sexual, psychological or verbal harassment or abuse We will not knowingly do business with any individual, company or organisation that violates these standards and principals of basic human rights, or has links with an oppressive regime that gives us cause for concern. Health and Safety We expect our suppliers to provide their workers with a clean, safe and healthy work environment and in addition to make provision for the health, safety and welfare of contractors, visitors and those in the community who may be effected by their activities. Our suppliers must understand the health and safety risks of their activities, comply with the legally mandated standards in the countries in which they operate and apply the appropriate good health and safety management systems, training and practices in all they do. Environment We aim to reduce our effect on the environment and minimise our use of energy and resources and expect our suppliers to do the same in their businesses and throughout their supply chains through the use of processes and materials that support sustainability and compliance with environmental laws in the countries in which they operate. Ethical We are committed to the highest standards of integrity, honesty and openness and professionalism in all our activities. Suppliers to the Norse Group must not offer gifts or favours to its employees that may be seen as an attempt to influence business decisions. All suppliers must conduct their business to a high ethical standard and comply with relevant legislation on bribery, corruption and prohibited business practices.
Pay and Benefits means the employee’s full-time equivalent pay and benefits, calculated in accordance with the single total figure methodology.

Examples of Pay and Benefits in a sentence

  • A.5.2 above, and the committee meets during normal instructional hours, the teacher on call shall be paid pursuant to the provisions in each district respecting Teacher on Call Pay and Benefits.

  • Severance Benefits mean the payment of severance compensation as provided in Section 2.3 herein.

  • Terms and Benefits means the Terms and Conditions together with the Benefit Schedule (including the Schedule of Surgical Procedures) and any related Supplement(s) as certified by the Government under this Certified Plan.

  • Accrued Benefits shall include the following amounts, payable as described herein: (i) all base salary for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (ii) reimbursement for any and all monies advanced in connection with the Executive's employment for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Executive on behalf of the Company and its Affiliates for the time period ending with the Termination Date; (iii) any and all other cash earned through the Termination Date and deferred at the election of the Executive or pursuant to any deferred compensation plan then in effect; (iv) notwithstanding any provision of any bonus or incentive compensation plan applicable to the Executive, a lump sum amount, in cash, equal to the sum of (A) any bonus or incentive compensation that has been allocated or awarded to the Executive for a fiscal year or other measuring period under the plan that ends prior to the Termination Date but has not yet been paid (pursuant to Section 5(f) or otherwise) and (B) a pro rata portion to the Termination Date of the aggregate value of all contingent bonus or incentive compensation awards to the Executive for all uncompleted periods under the plan calculated as to each such award as if the Goals with respect to such bonus or incentive compensation award had been attained; and (v) all other payments and benefits to which the Executive (or in the event of the Executive's death, the Executive's surviving spouse or other beneficiary) may be entitled as compensatory fringe benefits or under the terms of any benefit plan of the Employer, including severance payments under the Employer's severance policies and practices in the form most favorable to the Executive that were in effect at any time during the 180-day period prior to the Effective Date. Payment of Accrued Benefits shall be made promptly in accordance with the Employer's prevailing practice with respect to clauses (i) and (ii) or, with respect to clauses (iii), (iv) and (v), pursuant to the terms of the benefit plan or practice establishing such benefits.

  • the Contributions and Benefits Act means the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992;

Severance payments include any payment for actual or threatened litigation involving or related to the employment contract. Education Code 11.201(c); 19 TAC 105.1021(a)(1)

  • Covered benefits or “benefits” means those health care services to which a covered person is entitled under the terms of a health benefit plan.

  • Medical Benefits means medical, optical, or dental benefits, including, but not limited to, hospital and physician services, prescription drugs, and related benefits.

  • Accrued Compensation means an amount which shall include all amounts earned or accrued through the "Termination Date" (as hereinafter defined) but not paid as of the Termination Date, including (i) base salary, (ii) reimbursement for reasonable and necessary expenses incurred by the Executive on behalf of the Company during the period ending on the Termination Date, (iii) vacation pay and (iv) bonuses and incentive compensation (other than the "Pro Rata Bonus" (as hereinafter defined)).

  • Retirement Benefits means benefits paid by reference to reaching, or the expectation of reaching, retirement or, where they are supplementary to those benefits and provided on an ancillary basis, in the form of payments on death, disability, or cessation of employment or in the form of support payments or services in case of sickness, indigence or death. In order to facilitate financial security in retirement, these benefits may take the form of payments for life, payments made for a temporary period, a lump sum, or any combination thereof;

  • Vested Benefits means amounts that are vested or that Executive is otherwise entitled to receive, without the performance by Executive of further services or the resolution of a contingency, under the terms of or in accordance with any investment and savings plan or retirement plan (including any plan providing retiree medical benefits) of the Company or its affiliates, and any ERPs or ESPs related thereto, and any deferred compensation or employee stock purchase plan or similar plan or program of the Company or its affiliates.

  • Severance Amount means:

  • Extended benefits means benefits, including benefits payable to federal civilian employees and to ex-servicemen under 5 U.S.C. Chapter 85, payable to an individual under the provisions of this section for weeks of unemployment in his eligibility period.

  • Executive Severance Plan means the Company’s Senior Executive Employee Severance Pay Plan, as in effect from time to time.
