Examples of Parties present and voting in a sentence
If all efforts have been exhausted, an amendment shall require for its adoption a two-thirds majority vote of the Parties present and voting.
In accordance with Article VIII (9), unless provided otherwise in the Agreement or in Rules 4(5), 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26, decisions of Parties shall be adopted by consensus or, if consensus cannot be achieved, by a two-thirds majority of the Parties present and voting.
However, if at any time a Party requests a secret ballot, that shall be the method of voting on the issue in question, provided that this request is accepted by a simple majority of the Parties present and voting.
The appeal shall immediately be put to the vote, and the Presiding Officer's ruling shall stand unless a simple majority of the Parties present and voting otherwise decides.
This would, however, require an amendment of the Gorilla Agreement under Article X of the Agreement, requiring a 2/3 majority of the Parties present and voting.
