Participant User. “Participant” and “Authorized User” – with the former having appropriate policies to require the latter to act in accordance with the applicable terms conditions of both the EDUA and the Participation Agreement.

Examples of Participant User in a sentence

  • Each Participant shall employ a process by which the Participant, or its designee, uses the credentials issued pursuant to Section 6.02 to verify the identity of each Participant User prior to enabling such Participant User to Transact Message Content.

  • Each Participant shall employ a process by which the Participant, or its designee, validates sufficient information to uniquely identify each person seeking to become a Participant User prior to issuing credentials that would grant the person access to the Participant’s System.

  • The Participant or Participant User, if he/she/it is a Health Care Provider, shall be responsible for all decisions and actions taken or not taken involving patient care, utilization management, and quality management for his/her/its respective patients and clients resulting from, or in any way related to, the use of the Network standards, services and policies agreed to by the Participants pursuant to this Agreement or the Message Content made available thereby.

  • Participant shall require that all of its Participant Users comply with the applicable requirements of this Agreement and Applicable Law and shall promptly take appropriate action in the event that Participant knows, or reasonably should have known, of a violation of the Agreement by a Participant User.

  • Participant will be responsible for any breach of this Agreement by a Participant User.

  • Treatment of the Individual who is the subject of the Protected Health Information (“PHI”) requested or received by the Participant or Participant User.

  • Participant will be responsible for any breach of this Agreement by a Participant User or a Subscribed User.

  • In the event of an emergency access to the patient’s Health Data, written documentation in the patient’s record immediately following the disclosure shall be made by the requesting Participant User and must include the name of the medical personnel to whom disclosure was made and his/her affiliation with any health care facility, the name of the individual making the disclosure (as applicable), the date and time of the disclosure, and the nature of the emergency.

  • Except as provided in Section 17.05 (“No Warranties”) and Article 22 (“Dispute Resolution”), nothing in this Agreement shall be construed to restrict a Participant’s right to pursue all remedies available under law for damages or other relief arising from acts or omissions of other Participants related to this Agreement, or to limit any rights, immunities or defenses to which a Participant or Participant User may be entitled under Applicable Law.

Related to Participant User

  • Participant ID means each unique identifier assigned to a Participant other than a DMA Customer by BSEF for access to the SEF operated by BSEF.

  • Participant Group means you, each of your holding companies and subsidiaries and each subsidiary of each of your holding companies (as each such term is defined in the Companies Act 1985); and

  • Program participant means an individual certified by the secretary as a program participant under Iowa Code section 9E.3.

  • Participant contract means a contract by which a sponsored captive insurance company insures the risks of a participant and limits the losses of the participant to the assets of a protected cell.

  • Participant has the meaning specified in Section 10.06(d).

  • Participant Direction Procedures means such instructions, guidelines or policies, the terms of which are incorporated herein, as shall be established pursuant to Section 4.10 and observed by the Administrator and applied and provided to Participants who have Participant Directed Accounts.

  • CDS Participant means a participant in CDS that holds security entitlements in Units on behalf of beneficial owners of those Units;

  • Program Participants means, for any CRP, the Centers (other than the Lead Center for such CRP) and any Partner receiving funding for activities under such CRP that are funded by the CGIAR Fund.

  • Participant Agreement means an employment or other services agreement between a Participant and the Service Recipient that describes the terms and conditions of such Participant’s employment or service with the Service Recipient and is effective as of the date of determination.

  • Non-U.S. Participant means any Participant that if it were a Lender would qualify as a Non-U.S. Lender.

  • Participant Account means that separate account maintained under the Plan to record the amount that a Participant has contributed to the Plan during an Offering Period.

  • FTR Participant means any Market Participant that provides or is required to provide Collateral in order to participate in PJM’s FTR auctions.

  • Section 162(m) Participant means any key Employee designated by the Administrator as a key Employee whose compensation for the fiscal year in which the key Employee is so designated or a future fiscal year may be subject to the limit on deductible compensation imposed by Section 162(m) of the Code.

  • Designated Participant means a key Employee of the Company or any other Participating Company who is designated by the Committee in writing to participate in the Program.

  • Participant Contributions means contributions made by the Participant pursuant to an executed Pay Reduction Agreement subject to the Participant Contribution limits contained in Article III.

  • Clearing Participant means a person admitted as a participant under the Clearing Rules.

  • CDS Participants means a broker, dealer, bank or other financial institution or other person for whom CDS effects book-entry transfers and pledges of Deposit Notes under the Book-Entry System.

  • Plan Participant means a person who is eligible to receive, and is receiving, a pension benefit from the Plan.

  • Inactive Participant means each Participant (other than a Retired Participant, Deceased Participant or Disabled Participant) who is not in active service as an Outside Director and is not actively employed by a Participating Company.

  • U.S. Participant means a Participant who is a citizen of the United States or a resident of the United States, as defined in section 7701(a)(30)(A) and section 7701(b)(1) of the Code and any other Participant who is subject to tax under the Code with respect to compensatory awards granted pursuant to the Plan;

  • Depository System Participant means any participant in the Depository’s book- entry system.

  • Authorised Participant Agreement means, in respect of an Authorised Participant, the authorised participant agreement (as amended, supplemented, novated and/or replaced from time to time) entered into by the Issuer and such Authorised Participant.
