Paid Family Leave definition

Paid Family Leave or “PFL” means the program that provides up to six weeks of partial wage replacement benefits to workers who take time off work to care for a seriously ill Family Member as defined in these definitions, or to bond with a new Child.

Paid Family Leave or “PFL” means the program that provides up to eight weeks of partial wage replacement benefits to workers who take time off work to care for a seriously ill family member as defined in these definitions, or to bond with a new child. PFL benefits are limited to eight weeks in a twelve- month period.

More Definitions of Paid Family Leave

Paid Family Leave means any period of Family Leave during which the Active Member receives any statutory or contractual pay and also includes any period of ordinary maternity leave as provided for under section 71 of the ERA (even if the Active Member does not receive any pay during all or any part of that period).
